After the sweet celebration in the Isaribi's cafeteria, Orga decided to take the older members of Tekkadan out on the town for a night of drinks and relaxation. It was a rare opportunity for them to unwind and enjoy themselves, away from the constant battles and hardships they faced.
They found themselves at a lively bar on a nearby space station, the atmosphere filled with laughter, music, and the clinking of glasses. Orga, Eugene, Biscuit, and the others settled at a table, raising their glasses for a toast to their recent achievements and their enduring camaraderie.
As the night progressed, the drinks flowed freely, and the group's spirits soared. They reminisced about their past adventures, shared stories, and laughed heartily. For a while, it seemed like nothing could dampen their enthusiasm.
However, as the night wore on and the number of empty glasses increased, Orga began to feel the effects of the alcohol more than he had anticipated. He tried to maintain his composure, but his cheeks grew flushed, and his speech started to slur.
As Orga stumbled back to the table, his face flushed from the alcohol and his earlier bout of sickness, he found Ichiro sitting there with a mischievous grin on his face. Ichiro had been enjoying the revelry just as much as the rest of the older Tekkadan members.
Ichiro raised his glass, clinking it against Orga's with a sly smile. "Looks like our fearless leader underestimated the power of celebration, huh?"
Orga, still feeling a bit queasy, managed a weak chuckle. "Yeah, yeah, laugh it up, Ichiro. You're not off the hook either."
Ichiro shrugged, taking another sip of his drink. "Fair enough. We're all in this together."
Eugene chimed in, grinning at the scene. "You know, Orga, it's good to see you like this once in a while. Reminds us that you're human too."
Biscuit nodded in agreement. "That's right. We're not just comrades; we're friends. And friends look out for each other."
The night continued with laughter, camaraderie, and the occasional teasing of their leader, Orga.
.
Mikazuki: [Shouting over the commotion] Hey, Ichiro! Aren't you underage for this stuff?
Ichiro: [Slurring his words] Hic! Age... age is just a number, Mika! Hic!
[Ichiro starts singing an unfamiliar song, "Wellerman" by Nathan Evans, in a drunken state. His voice is a bit off-key, but he's enjoying himself.]
Mikazuki: [Sighs] Well, I guess he's having a good time, at least...
[The atmosphere is relaxed, and the clinking of glasses and chatter fill the air. Bladwin, still wearing his helmet with just enough space for a straw, sits in the corner, quietly sipping his drink while keeping a watchful eye on the group.]
[As Ichiro continues to sing, the atmosphere in the room becomes lively. Shino starts rhythmically hitting the table, adding a beat to Ichiro's off-key singing.]
[As Ichiro continues to sing, his voice fills the room, and everyone joins in, following with enthusiasm:]
Ichiro: ๐ถ There once was a ship that put to sea The name of the ship was the Billy o' Tea The winds blew hard, her bow dipped down Blow, me bully boys, blow! ๐ถ
Orga, Eugene, Mika, Chad, and Biscuit: ๐ถ (Blow, me bully boys, blow!) ๐ถ
Ichiro: ๐ถ Soon may the Wellerman come To bring us sugar and tea and rum One day, when the tonguin' is done We'll take our leave and go ๐ถ
Everyone: ๐ถ (Blow, me bully boys, blow!) ๐ถ
[The voices of Tekkadan blend harmoniously, creating a warm and memorable moment. It's a stark contrast to their usual battles and struggles, a reminder of the bonds they share beyond the battlefield.]
Eugene: [Chuckling] You know, maybe we should make Ichiro drunk more often if it means getting a performance like this!
[Around the room, people are nodding in agreement, thoroughly entertained by Ichiro's drunken antics.]
Orga: [Grinning] Well, well, Ichiro, I've never seen you like this before. You're a real entertainer when you're drunk. said Orga as pulled Ichiro. Ichiro was too drunk.
Eugene: [Raising his glass] To our newest star of the night, Ichiro!
Merribit Stapleton, sitting at her table, observes the lively scene with curiosity. As she sips her drink and listens to Ichiro's singing, she can't help but be impressed by the passion and camaraderie of these Martian newcomers. It's a moment that stands out amidst the usual routine of the restaurant, and she finds herself enjoying the unexpected performance.
Merribit: [To herself] Well, isn't this a pleasant surprise? Those Martian boys sure know how to bring some excitement to the place.
[Merribit continues to watch and listen, a faint smile on her face as she immerses herself in the jovial atmosphere created by Tekkadan's spirited singing.]

Outside the restaurant, the night sky watches over Orga as he leans against a fountain, looking rather unsteady. He's had a bit too much to drink, and his stomach rebels, causing him to vomit into the fountain. It's not the most dignified sight, but his friends are there to support him. Mika rubs Orga's back.
Merribit, a kind and concerned observer, approaches Orga as he recovers from his bout of vomiting. She offers him her handkerchief, a gesture of both sympathy and advice.
Merribit: [Smiling gently] Here, it might help. If you want to be an adult, you have to learn to handle a few bumps along the way.
Orga, now a bit more composed, accepts the handkerchief with gratitude. Mikazuki watches the interaction with curiosity, prompting Orga to answer his question.
Orga: [Smirking] Who knows... [He takes a sniff of the handkerchief] Smells like a woman.
Mikazuki and Orga exchange a knowing look.

With the party at the restaurant winding down and Orga and Ichiro thoroughly drunk, the group of Tekkadan members begins to disperse. Mika, Eugene, Shino, Biscuit, and Akihiro support Orga as they make their way back to the Isaribi. Meanwhile, Bladwin lends his support to Ichiro, ensuring that neither of the twins falls on their drunken journey.
Shino and Eugene, having some work to attend to, bid their comrades farewell before leaving. The remaining members of Tekkadan continue on their way, eager to rest and recover from their eventful night of celebration.
The scene unfolds outside the restaurant where the members of Tekkadan are dealing with the aftermath of their party. Orga, still recovering from his excessive drinking, is supported by Akihiro and Biscuit. Mika, Eugene, Shino, and Bladwin are also present, but Shino and Eugene have to depart for some kinky work.
Akihiro: [Chuckling] Man, Orga, you really went all out tonight.
Orga: [Groaning] Yeah, well, it's not every day we get to celebrate like this.
Biscuit: [Smirking] I hope you learned your lesson, Orga. Maybe next time, take it easy on the drinks.
Orga: [Nodding, slightly embarrassed] Yeah, yeah, you're right. I overdid it this time.
Mika: [Looking at Orga with concern] You okay, Orga?
Orga: [Waving his hand dismissively] Yeah, just need some fresh air. I'll be fine.
Eugene: [Approaching the group] Shino insisted to go . You guys take care and handle Orga and Ichiro.
Shino: [Grinning] Yeah, Come on now let's go.
Biscuit: [Waving ] Sure thing, you guys go.
[Biscuit, Akihiro, and Mika continue to support Orga as he takes a few unsteady steps towards the Isaribi.]
Bladwin: [Carrying Ichiro on his back] Hey, guys, I've got our fearless singer over here. He's out cold.
Akihiro: [Laughing] Looks like Ichiro had his fair share of fun too.
Mika: [Smirking] I guess these both can't hold their liquor.
Biscuit: [Chuckling] Let's get them back to the ship. They'll have some interesting memories to wake up to. As he had already recorded all that happened in the restaurant using his tablet.
With Orga and Ichiro in less-than-ideal conditions and the rest of the group still feeling the effects of their celebration, Tekkadan heads back to the Isaribi, a mix of exhaustion and contentment in the air.
