Selena and every body else trained till dark yesterday. From witches to healers, everybody was busy and there was no rest until dark.....Right now, Selena and her mum were having a discussion in her room...
"Mum, I can't believe I'm finally with you, It feels so surreal" Selena folded her legs, making herself comfortable on her bed, then focusing on her mum.
"Oh my baby, I'm so sorry you had to go through that but it was for your own good. If I hadn't given you away, who knows what would have happened. Although, It hurts to know that I wasn't part of your childhood" Naomi took Selena's hand, looking at her with love and care.
"I understand, you and dad wanted me safe...But still" Selena tried to hold the tears that were threatening to fall.
"I know I know baby, but I and your father did this for you because we love you....You were the best thing that happened to us, when we had you, it was the best feeling one could ever wish for. You had my eyes and your father's hair but that was temporary as the Moon Goddess chose you. Your hair turned white and your eyes purple and you looked so magical, I couldn't believe I gave birth to you. It was a bitter sweet experience as the prophesy of the great war will come to pass...All these experiences were cut short as my brother, Liam, ambushed us. He destroyed the kingdom and killed plenty innocent wolves...And your father" Naomi immediately started sobbing as she said that last part. The emotions overwhelmed her as she cried silently, holding Selena's hands....Meanwhile, Selena was still in shock. She couldn't believe what she just heard, she started breathing heavily as she asked;
"What? And my what?" She whispered, looking at her mother who was still shedding tears....."You mean that maniac killed my father?" She continued to which Naomi nodded.
"Your father, Supreme Alpha Lord Lucius, was my mate and the love of my life. He was also a great king but it didn't last as he died bravely defending his kingdom and family" Naomi narrated sadly, remembering the past.
"How? I mean dad is supposed to be super strong.....At least I know that from his title. No ordinary wolf would be crowned the Alpha of Alphas so how?" Selena questioned, standing up from the bed.
"My child, although it is true that your father was a very powerful king, Liam used black sorcery or magic, the way you would call it and your father was not strong enough to handle it, so he di...." Naomi paused when she saw Selena's eyes flickering from purple to black and vice versa. 'Oh no' She thought.
"Sweety, I need you to calm down, your dark energy is feeding on your anger, please try to be calm" Naomi got up and tried to calm Selena down but unfortunately, it wasn't working. Selena started floating, her hair glowing as she said with a deeper voice;
"NO!!! I CAN'T CALM DOWN MUM. I'VE HAD ENOUGH, I'LL KILL THAT MANIAC!!!" And as she said this, Jason entered into the room.
"What is going on here?" He immediately questioned.
"I told her something that got her mad.....Please help her calm down" Naomi begged seeing the situation getting worse and to this, Jason nodded.
"Selena? Babe? Can you here me? I know you're in there, please just calm down, you don't wanna do this please" Jason cautiously said while approaching her but suddenly, Selena threw him across the room and out the door without even raising a finger....Jason, caught off guard, hit the wall heavily. He slowly got up groaning and looked at Selena who was seemingly fighting the dark energy in her again, she groaned in pain as she doubled over...After what seemed like hours, she looked at Jason worriedly, breathing heavily, then ran over to him....
"JJ I'm so sorry, I'm so so sorry" She begged, her voice breaking.
"It's okay babe. I'm fine" He said while getting on his feet....."Why did you get so angry?" He continued, looking from Selena to Naomi, wanting an explanation.
"I told her that Liam killed her father" Naomi immediately said, noticing that Selena did not want to say anything.
"What?.....This guy is getting on my last nerves...He's such a pain in the paw( Get it? Hehe)....Just don't worry cupcake, we'll get him.....very very soon" Jason assured..."Come on, let's go somewhere quiet, Rex wants some time with you" Jason held Selena's hand but she was hesitant....."What? Is there a problem princess?" Jason caught the hesitant look on Selena's face and asked.
"Well yes....Mum wants to teach me some things.....We'll never know when that psycho will attack" Selena shared with Jason and he was about to reply when Naomi cut him.
"Oh don't worry dear, we'll continue later, go and enjoy your time with your mate" She smiled.
"Thanks mum.....Bye" Selena stepped forward to give her a kiss.
"Come on princess" Jason called to which Selena frowned.
"Stop calling me that" Selena whined.
"What? Princess?" Jason laughed.
"Well you are a princess...Heck soon to be queen....So get used to it" Naomi joined Jason, laughing at Selena's expression.
"Urghh, you guys are already ganging up against me....Come on Jason" Selena playfully complained then went forward to grab Jason's hand.
"No no, don't....' Before Jason could finish, Selena already teleported, leaving Naomi smiling while shaking her head........

LIAM'S CASTLE....
"Get ready Linda, we strike tonight....You know the plan already right?" Liam was sipping a red wine inside his room as he asked.
"Yes Sire. You find the weakest mind amongst them and compel him\her to bring you even the tiniest drop of the chosen's blood" Linda walked forward to pour Liam more wine.
"That's right Linda...Soon victory will be mine....I can almost taste it.....Go, prepare what ever you need" Liam instructed and went back to his wine, grinning evilly.

Meanwhile, in the forest, Selena and Rex sat down chatting through their link.....
*I wish I could see Lumina now* Rex shared sighing sadly.
"Yeah, It'd be cool if I could shift now.....Then we'd run and run.....It'll be magical" Selena agreed......" But you talk to her through the link" She continued..........
"Rex?....I have a bad feeling about this war thing.....I have a feeling that it is closer than we expect and I don't like that feeling" Selena rested caressed Rex's black yet soft fur.
*Don't worry mate, every thing will be fine okay?* Rex assured her licking her face.
"Eww....Rex" She whined.
*He's so cute* Lumina purred.
*Thanks mate* Rex immediately replied........They kept talking and talking till evening. So they journeyed back to the pack for dinner....

LIAM'S CASTLE
Liam was in his room, his legs crossed, floating above his bed. His eyes were tightly shut and suddenly, black mist surrounded him. He was going across minds to find the weakest. He did not check Kyle, Jason or Damien's mind. He started with Allison's mind but there was a wall blocking him from compelling her. He then went ahead to Mila's mind which unfortunately was unblocked, so he entered her mind and connected to it......
"Bring me Selena's blood, make it look like an accident, somebody will be waiting outside....Go now" He whispered directly into her mind and he stayed quiet before he breathed in heavily. He suddenly open his eyes which were red with black slits, then he grinned.
"Linda watch her and when she comes out, get it for me" Liam commanded, then Linda nodded, turned to a black crow then flew out...........

BLOOD MOON PACK
It was dinner time in the Blood Moon pack. The girls (Selena, Allison and Mila) were preparing the meal. Allison was chopping some veggies, Selena was adding some seasoning to the sauce in the pan and Mila was getting a glass of water when a force hit her, the glass cup fell and shattered on the floor as Mila held her head.....
"Mila!! Are you okay?" Selena immediately rushed to her.
"Allison help me clean up the mess" She pleaded with Allison who was still looking at Mila.
"Are you okay Mila?" Selena asked Mila who was bowing her head in pain. Selena didn't notice her eyes that glowed red for a second.
"I.....I am fine" Mila assured, raising her head and smiling at Selena.
"Are you sure?" Selena again questioned. Mila was about to answer when every body ran to the kitchen...
"What was that?" Jason quickly question, scanning Selena's body for any injuries, Kyle and Damien running to their respective mates, checking for any injuries.
"I'm fine guys" Mila said removing Kyle's hand from her body, making Kyle frown slightly.
"Are you su...."
"I said I'm fine....So can you scoot on and let us finish preparing the meal" Mila sharply said to everybody......They were quiet for a while before they started leaving one after the other but Naomi was still looking at Mila suspiciously.
"Is there a problem Naomi?" Clara, seeing the suspicious look on her face.
"N....No but...I feel dark energy surrounding Mila" She said looking over at Mila again.
"What do you mean?" Clara asked confusedly.
"Its just that....You know what, never mind, maybe I'm being delusional" Naomi shrugged it off, walking away.
'What was that about' Clara thought following her sister.........
Back in the kitchen, Selena and Allison looked at each other, surprised by the sudden event. Allison raised her hand in a 'Don't know' gesture, while Selena shrugged and continued what she was doing. Mila turned her back to them as her eyes glowed red a again before returning to the original color.........Mila took some onions and walked over to Selena, her face devoid of any smile, still with her was a sharp knife....
"Uhmm, Selena? Can you please help me chop the onions?" Mila askes and smiled immediately Selena turned her head.
"Sure?" Selena grabbed the knife and the onions and started chopping it. Mila smiled and purposely threw a spoon on the floor. She bent to grab it, then smirked as her eyes again glowed red. As she grabbed the spoon, she hit Selena while standing up, making Selena shake, in the process, cutting her hand, her blood seeping from the wound and into the kitchen island......
"Shit" She cursed as she dropped the knife, walking over to the sink to rinse of the blood...Allison ran to her to help her....Mila on the other hand, walked over to where the blood dropped while saying;
"Oh no, Selena are you alright? Oh its my fault" And when she saw that they were focused on cleaning the wound, she took some kitchen towel, tore a small piece and wiped the blood off, she also took the knife and was about walking out when Allison called her. She immediately hit the knife behind her then turned to Allison.
"Uhh, where are you going Mila?" She asked.
"Yeah and with the blood stained towel" Selena added.
"Oh....I...I am just going to dispose this properly, I'll be right back" Mila replied without a hint of nervousness.
"Okay?" Selena said....more like a question as she and Allison went back to finishing the meal.......Mila smirked as she quickly left the kitchen.........

BACK YARD OF THE PACK HOUSE........
Linda, who has been watching all the event unfold as a crow, was now standing at the back of the pack house waiting for a certain some one. And that someone just showed up.......
"Here" Mila, whose eyes were glowing red, gave the blood stained knife and and towel to Linda who put them in a black orb.
"Good, now go back and forget all that just happened" Linda commanded and immediately vanished, leaving alone....Mila's eyes returned to the normal brown color as she held her aching head.....
"Urghh, why does my head hurt so much? What happened? And why am I at the back of the house?" Mila asked no one in particular, massaging her head. She sighed, walking back to the kitchen but she met Naomi on the way.
"Hi Naomi" She greeted, smiling.
"I'm good, how is your head now?" Naomi smiled back confusedly.
"My head? Its good now, I have to run back to the kitchen, else, Selena and Allison will kill me....Bye" Mila literally ran back to the kitchen, leaving Naomi in her thoughts.
"Why do I still feel that dark energy around" She asked, walking out, seemingly tracing the dark energy source....She found her self at the back of the pack house, looking around but found nothing...'Or was I wrong?' She thought as she suddenly summoned a white flower, almost looking like a white rose. She chanted some foreign words and waited...Gradually, the white flower turned black........"I knew it" She whispered. She took the black flower and started walking inside through the other direction where she saw some guards lying dead........"Oh no" She again whispered as she immediately teleported into the house, meeting Jason immediately.
"Jason they were here" She told him showing him the black flower........
