Chapter 30 - The Rule Are Broken

With the presence of the two tigers by my side, I feel more confident. Without waiting any longer, I immediately directed the two tigers to attack the bandits who threatened our army.

"Attack them!" I shouted

The tigers leaped forward nimbly, pounding the enemy with their sharp claws and teeth. Their ferocious attack took most of the bandits by surprise, giving our troops an advantage to take over the situation.

Meanwhile, Arshley and the other soldiers move together, taking advantage of the chaos created by the arrival of the tigers. They attacked vigorously, pressed the enemy back and expanded the territory controlled by our troops.

In just a few moments, the previously tense situation turned into an advantage for us. With the cooperation between us, the soldiers and the tigers, we successfully repelled the bandits and secured the battle area.

Arshley remained focused on the battle, slamming her sword forcefully towards the attacking bandits. However, in the midst of the battle, her mind was interrupted by thoughts about Tamer's abilities that I possessed.

I just found out that Kratia is Tamer... Did he only notice it lately? but... It was too fast to summon tigers, usually small birds.

In her confusion, she continues to fight vigorously, facing her enemies without losing focus.

On the other side, Alan sat on his bed with a smile adorning his face, while he was busy playing with his mobile phone:

[Hi, Dewi. Do you have free time this weekend? I want to take you to an interesting place.]

He took another look at the message, but then decided to delete it. The message was too direct and open, perhaps too hasty. I don't know what was on his mind, but Alan wanted to show his interest in the Dewi.

[Hey, Dewi. Do you still receive commissions? I want to make another illustration for my novel.] Send

Alan waited restlessly, his eyes constantly watching the screen of his mobile phone, waiting for the reply message from Dewi. Every second felt like age, anxiety filled his mind.

A few minutes later, an incoming message from Dewi finally appeared on the screen.

[Of course, Senior! I'm glad I was able to help. Just send us the details and I'll get started right away.]

When reading the message, a smile burst onto Alan's face. He began to type replies enthusiastically.

[That would be of great help, Dewi! But, to be honest, I find it difficult to explain the illustrations through text alone. What if we meet this weekend? I think it would be more effective to discuss in person.]

[um... If that's the case, I still don't know, but I'll tell you later, ok!?]

[Okay, no problem! I'm waiting for further news from you. Thank you so much, Dewi!]

Alan stared at his phone screen for a moment before placing it on the small table beside the bed. With a faint smile on his lips, he went downstairs to the living room. The atmosphere there is calm, only decorated with the sound of a running vacuum machine. His mother, who was busy cleaning the house, raised her head when she saw Alan enter the room.

"this is rare you not in your room?" asked his mother, pausing her work.

Alan shook his head. "I just want to sit here for a while," she replied, smiling softly.

Curiously, Alan called his mother. "Mom..."

"Yes, hun?" His mother turned off the vacuum cleaner and looked at Alan.

"Did that feeling of interest just come out of nowhere?"

"Feeling of interest?"

"Yes, like... like it?"

"On a girl?"

Alan nodded.

His mother smiled, understanding Alan's question. "Ah, that. Well, sometimes that attraction comes naturally, but it can also grow over time. The most important thing is to get to know someone well and see if you are suitable for each other."

Silence broke out when Alan's mother gave him an explanation, and then his mother asked him back. "You'd better just focus on your novel, find as many readers as possible, so that your novel is not just a hobby of writing, but also can make money."

After hearing his mother's suggestion, Alan nodded understandingly. "Thank you, mother. I will consider it."

His mother smiled and went back to continue her work cleaning the living room. Alan sat on the sofa, pondering his mother's words. Although his heart is still eager to pursue his interest to Dewi, he also realizes the importance of focusing on his ideals as a writer.

Not long after, Alan stood up and strode towards the exit. His mother, who was still busy cleaning, raised her head and asked in surprise, "Where are you going, Alan?"

Alan smiled kindly, "I'm going to a friend's house," he went out of the house leaving his mother to clean the house by herself

Humph, friend's house? Whose child? I didn't know that my son had friends in this compound.

His mother looked hesitant, but let she go and proceeded to clean up the house.

Moments later, Alan stopped at the house he had stayed at a while ago, he stepped into its gate and stood at the door, he called softly, "Elera? Are you at home?"

Alan stretched out his hand to knock on the door, but before his fingers touched it, the door opened slightly. His eyes widened, a little shocked.

Ngek!

"Hmm... how come it's not locked?" he muttered, noting the gaffe.

Cautiously, Alan entered the house. Inside it feels warm and pleasant, although it seems simple. The living room on the first floor is neatly organized, with well-maintained furniture and little decoration decorating the walls.

Alan noticed the wooden staircase that curved to the top floor. "Maybe the room is upstairs," he thought as he stepped towards the stairs.

When he reached the top floor, it became darker. The natural light coming in from the window is covered by curtains, giving a mysterious impression. Alan looked at a door that opened slightly, and the room was pitch black inside.

"Elera...?" he whispered, trying to call out to his friend in a soft voice as he entered the room.

Alan stood in the doorway, surprised to see the dark and messy state of the room. Garbage was scattered on the floor, mattresses were not neat, and pillows were lying everywhere. On the wall, photos of Elera when she was still an idol were displayed gracefully. But the most striking thing is that Elera herself, sitting at the table with her head down, looks very engrossed in listening to music while laughing to herself.

"H-Hehe, continue... hehe I like this," Elera muttered, unaware of Alan's presence in the room.

Alan stood directly behind Elera, his heart heavy to see the state of his friend who was immersed in her own world. Without a word, he decided to approach Elera slowly, trying to find a way to help her.

However, when he saw the monitor screen that Elera was staring at with great concentration, confusion enveloped his mind. He sees a character from the novel [Miracle], Marlin, making out with Lancey. Alan couldn't help being confused.

"How can they kiss?" he asked Elera, trying to understand what was going on.

"Kyaaa!" Elera was taken aback and threw her headset on the computer desk. "W-Alan!? Why are you here?"

"... You like that one, huh? Why did Marlin suddenly kiss Lancey?" asked Alan, unable to hide his disbelief and confusion.

"I-that... hehe I'm h-just instigating them," Elera replied nervously.

Alan just looked at Elera with a look of disbelief. "My character is with Arshley, looking for King Gabriel."

"Oh yes!? So soon, I'll tell you my character later..." She stood up and passed the garbage scattered on the floor, turning on the room light. "S-Sorry, a little messy."

When the lights came on, Alan closed his eyes because it was too bright, then looked at Elera's face. "Huh... Little!? Look at it, it's so messy."

Alan picked up some garbage scattered around him, trying to clean up a little mess in Elera's room. Meanwhile, Elera remained standing in place, looking at Alan with a mixed look of curiosity and confusion.

"So... what are you doing in my house?" asked Elera, her voice full of question marks.

Alan looked at him as he lifted a pile of garbage. "Since you are a woman I know, I want to ask you for advice."

"Advice?"

"Yes..." Alan walked to the trash can, but saw that it was full. He looked at Elera. "I seem to be in love."

Sarah smiled. "oh~ You are talking to the right person. As a former idol who is loved by many people, I understand people's feelings."

"Before that, please clean up your room. No man will fall in love with you if he can't take care of your room," Alan said, without intending to hurt Elera's heart, but just telling her. Then, he went out of the room to find a trash can outside.

Elera was offended, but also began to clean her room.

After a while of cleaning the room, Elera's room condition became more orderly and comfortable. The accumulated garbage has been cleaned up, and the pillows and quilts on the bed have been tidied up. The light of the lamp shines into the room, making it look brighter and refreshing.

Elera was relieved to see the changes she had made. He sat for a while on the edge of the bed, exhaling a long breath. It feels better to see a room that is already clean and tidy after previously being so messy.

That's when Alan came back into the room, carrying a brand-new trash can. He smiled at the changes taking place. "Wow, it looks so much better!" he said appreciatively.

Elera smiled shyly. "yes, I hope you will not be too disappointed with the previous situation."

"It doesn't matter. The important thing is that it's neat now," Alan replied kindly.

"Before we continue, I want to ask..." Elera said, attracting Alan's attention.

"What's the matter?"

"That time... your character, Kratia, how come you can still survive? I knew when I saw his window information, he had a vampire race, but... the one he fought was King Gabriel, right?"

"I don't know... but how dangerous is King Gabriel?" Alan was silent for a moment, pondering Elera's question.

Elera explained seriously, "King Gabriel is one of the most powerful characters in the [Miracle] novel. He has extraordinary strength and extraordinary intelligence. No one can match it to this point."

Alan nodded, listening carefully. "So, Kratia had to face a very tough challenge on their journey."

"Yes, definitely. But it looks like Kratia has the luck and extraordinary skills to survive this far."

Alan raised his eyebrows in interest. "But there is no need to panic, I have already changed the level to unidentified."

"Huh!?"

"Yes, and it works."

"Wait, you shouldn't just change the story of the novel by changing the strength of your character... But what's even stranger, why did it succeed in changing?"

"Really you can't change the status of your own character at will?"

"Of course not! Which fool can..."

Alan was silent for a moment, thinking about the answer seriously. "No one can change a character's status randomly???"

Elera nodded, it seemed that she understood. "But why can you successfully change it?"

Alan shook his head. "I'm not sure either. Maybe there is something special about Kratia's strength of character that allows it to defend against King Gabriel."

Elera nodded in understanding, but her expression was still full of confusion. "It's so strange..."
