Chapter 3 - 3. Mommy

"What does Lady Helia look like? Is she really that bad?"

That question kept spinning around in my head. Before seeing Lady Helia's figure in person, I didn't want to judge her badly just because those people said that Lady Helia was a bad woman. What's so bad about it?

"Where is she? I can find lady Helia?"

"Where's father?, is he in his work?"

My mind was divided. I wanted to think of a plan, but my head is completely useless right now. Ah, this is the weakness of being a child. If pain, I really won't be able to do anything. Unlike when I was an adult in my previous life. Even if it hurts, I can still rack my brains. At least, if I haven't died, then I can still do something. But now things have changed. I have to How?

"Lady Helia?"

What?!. I didn't hear it wrong, right?! This figure that I'm confused about its existence just by chance appears by itself in front of me! Truly a miracle!.

"Ohh?! You. Have you conveyed my message to Duke Leonhart?" Lady Helia said.

I tried to pay attention to Lady Helia's appearance, except for her face. She covered her face with a hand fan like she really was a noble lady. I can only imagine if Lady Helia was like a lady. a beautiful 19th-century English aristocrat. Her blonde hair, blue eyes, milky skin, and a brightly colored dress added to the impression that Lady Helia was a woman who took great care of herself. But that was only her outward appearance. I don't really know Lady Helia's figure yet.

"I have conveyed your message, Lady Helia"

"Then what did the Duke say? Why can't I get any explanation yet?," Said Lady Helia.

Her way of speaking was charming but she continued to put pressure on every word as if she had no more time.

"Listen. I don't want an annulment of this marriage..." she continued. Lady Helia glanced at me sharply after that.

"Oh, dear Cellia, are you cured?" Lady Helia said again. I know the way Lady Helia looks at me. She looks at me like a superior who is never satisfied with my work no matter how hard I try.

She definitely doesn't like me. I can confirm it! I confirm that this woman is two-faced!.

Lady Helia is definitely bad for my daddy!

How can daddy want to marry him? If not for love, then for what reason would he marry Lady Helia? Daddy obviously wants to marry because he wants to make me happy, but can't he choose another woman besides Lady Helia?!

"Vincent. What are you doing? Why did you take Celia out?!" My dad's suddenly appeared!. Apparently he's in the room over there!?.

Okay. Now everyone is gathered in this hallway ...

Meanwhile, Vio, who came to Cellia's room, found that the room was empty. Her robot-like face suddenly changed drastically to that of someone who couldn't bear to go to the bathroom. She quickly walked at the speed of the wind and finally everyone actually gathered in the hallway of the mansion.

"What's going on? Vio's face is so weird..." I thought.

"My Lord, that was-"

"Daddy!" I quickly cut off the words of this man who was carrying me.

"Cellia, what's wrong darling?"

"Cellia wants daddy. Cellia wants daddy," I said. I really don't know what to think. It seems that small children's bodies are also designed to be limited in overthinking.

My daddy then immediately took over me and now I am in his arms.

"It looks like Cellia is still not good. Shouldn't she be in her room?" Lady Helia chirped.

Geez. I can clearly see what this woman means. He obviously wants me to leave here so he can be with my father only! Look at his gaze that says

"get the hell out of here you annoying little insect!"

You should be the one to go! Your marriage has been canceled by my father, right?!

"Dear Cellia, you should rest in your room. Let's go back to the room, okay?"

Daddy. Don't be provoked by this wolf woman! I'm not going to the room! I will be here to protect you!. This woman must not manipulate my daddy!.

I shook my head and hugged my dad's neck tightly.

"Cellia wants daddy!" I said with a little spoiled and whining.

"Hey maid, why are you silent? You should have taken Celia back to your room right? She is still sick! And you Vincent. Aren't you supposed to be bothering Duke Leonhart?! He still has a lot of business to do!" Said Lady Helia.

She didn't lose his mind apparently. This time she used another method by taking advantage of my dad's busy life to chase me away!

"Miss Cellia, let's go to our room. I've brought the milk and sweetmeat bread you asked for earlier..."

I shook my head quickly. I'm not going anywhere until this woman lifts her foot out of the mansion! I won't let her seduce my father so she can marry him! You wolf in fox fur!.

"Dad! Celia wants daddy!" I whined.

This time I tried the tear trick. Which parent is not touched to see their child crying?. Although I admit that this is not Cellia's true nature because the real Cellia would definitely just be silent and obey. She would definitely harbor her feelings again. But this time is different!. I will save my dad and myself!.

"Honey, don't cry. Daddy is here" my dad said. He rubbed my back gently.

"Unusual. Cellia has spoiled me so much... is it because she's sick? No. This is something new!" Duke Leonhart thought. He felt the change in his little daughter.

Without saying anything. My daddy took steps to leave from there. He even completely ignored Lady Helia. I'm quite satisfied. Lady Helia looked very upset.

"Duke Leonhart. Remember. You still owe me!" Lady Helia shouted and then she left.

Owe?. What does it mean?. Why does my dad's have debt? What debt does my daddy owe that woman?

Geez. Looks like I made a little mistake and made dad's condition worse? What should I do?. I have to find out what debt the daddy of that woman owes. I'm sure that's what pressured my daddy into making the decision not to marry that woman.

"Dear Cellia. You are very spoiled today. Is there anything daddy can do?" asked my daddy. He took me to his room which looked very neat as if he had never used it at all. And also... this room feels so cold and lonely.

"Cellia wants daddy!" I answered.

My dad's smiled. He seemed at a loss for words too and didn't know what to do for me. At first my dad's was about to lay me down on his bed so I could sleep and rest again, but I immediately hugged my father tightly. Luckily my father caught this hint. I don't want to get away from him. I will not let him go away from me and meet that woman.

So, now I'm in his arms. Dad sat on a sofa facing an unlit fireplace. No. More correctly. The fireplace really looked very clean. There are no signs of ever being used.

I don't think daddy's ever been in this room. Why?. Is it because he is too busy taking care of many things?. But at least, sometimes he has to go to his room and sleep here to rest, right?.

There is no conversation between me and my dad. I don't know what to talk about with my dad. Not only did he seem lost for words, but he also looked tired. Father even sat back on the sofa and made his shoulders which he usually displayed firmness look soft like iron about to be melted.

I peeked at father's face a few times and noticed something. looked like he was staring at something since earlier. Something that made dad smile sadly. Then I tried to follow the direction where dad came from. What did he see that made him sad? remembering who the figure of the woman who was smiling so gently in the large painting displayed above the fireplace wall was. That was a picture of my mother.

"Cellia?"

"Mommy... mommy..." I said again reflexively. My tears even fell without having to ask. I miss my mom.

"Mommy!" I said. I now let the emotional burden that had been pent up escape its confinement.

"Darling. Dad is here, calm down. Father will never leave you again. Father will not marry anyone. Dad is just for Cellia and mom, okay? do not Cry honey"

My father now hugged me tightly again. He also seemed so shocked that he said whatever had been in his head all this time. My dad's let go of the burden of his thoughts, just as I let go of my emotional burden.

Some memories emerge in my mind. It was when my dad, mom, and I traveled to a place together. During the trip, we looked very happy and enjoyed many things. Especially my parents. They seemed very happy with my presence. I am much more interesting than all the beautiful views that make me happy during the trip.

"Cellia, don't stand like this all the time. It's dangerous," said my mom. Her voice was very soft. I remember it clearly. I also saw her worried face.

"Cellia, you made your mommy a hassle. Come here" my daddy said. He took me over from my mom's guard then made me stand nearby while I continued to look at the scenery along the road from inside the horse-drawn carriage.

"Honey, hold on to Cellia tightly or she might fall!. Standing in a moving train is dangerous!" Said my mom's who continued to have a worried face.

"Don't worry, Darling. I can keep you all safe in even a flying train" my dad said. He's a little naughty.

"Darling!"

"Moms!" I said excitedly when I saw something really interesting appear. It was a very large dark colored dragon that was flying towards us.

"Cellia, you look very excited. What are you looking at-" my mommy also looked out the window and shouted.

"Darling!. Black totem!" Continued my mommy, who now had a frightened face.
