After arriving at Yggfresis using Teleportation Magic, I moved around looking at the simplified map sent to me by Rosemary-san. The Garden of Myriad Flowers is located very close to Yggfresis, so walking isn't a problem.
Even though it's very close to Yggfresis, the largest city in the Demon Realm, it's said to be a place known as a Phantom Garden, and the fact that people who aren't invited can't get there must be because Rosemary-san's Barrier Magic is very powerful.
After walking for a while from the entrance to Yggrfresis, the entrance to the Great Forest comes into view. If I continue on, I will wander into the largest forest in the Demon Realm... but at the entrance to the forest, I hold in my hand the invitation letter that was included in Rosemary-san's letter.
According to the letter, this invitation was made exclusively for me, and when I hold this in my hand, I can see the entrance to the Garden of Myriad Flowers.
Looking around with the invitation in my hand, I found what looked like a gate made of roses. It was a gate that I couldn't see at all until a few moments ago though.
Feeling somewhat excited by the sense of fantasy it has, I passed through the mysterious gate, which I couldn't see the other side from... and the scenery drastically changed.
[Ohhh... This is amazing.]
There was a flower garden spreading all over the place, and colorful flowers were blooming all over my field of view. It was indeed a vast, endless field of flowers, and in the center of the garden was a stylish wooden house.
Just as I was wondering if that was Rosemary-san's home, rose petals danced in front of my eyes, and Rosemary-san appeared.
Looking around to make sure there was no one here but me, she then spoke with a small smile.
[...Welcome, Kaito-kun.]
[Hello, Rosemary-san. Thank you for inviting me today.]
[No. I'm glad you came. Did you find your way here without any trouble?]
[Yes, thanks to the map you gave me... ]
If there was no one else in the room, Rosemary-san's expression doesn't stiffen, as she spoke to me with a gentle smile.
When her expression stiffens, including her flashy expression, one would get the impression that she looked quite harsh, but Rosemary-san, who isn't tense, has a kind older sister-like atmosphere.
[I'm sorry. I wish I could have picked you up by the entrance... but there are so many people there...]
[It's alright. Even so, you have an amazing flower garden here. Are all these managed by Rosemary-san?]
[Unnn... I like flowers, and as I added more and more flowers, the garden became this big.]
[Heehhh...]
I know that Rosemary-san liked flowers, but it was amazing to actually see them like this. A wonderful flower garden that makes you think that this place has all kinds of flowers in the world... Just looking at it from here makes me feel overwhelmed.
[Since we're at it, before we go to my home, how about we check out the flower garden for a bit?]
[Is that alright? If you're fine with it, then by all means.]
[Unnn. The flowers over here aren't common in the Human Realm, so they should be rare.]
I followed Rosemary-san as she guided me through the flower garden. It's quite obvious, but Rosemary-san, who loves flowers so much, is very knowledgeable about them, as she introduced them to us with simple explanations, which is fun to listen to.
I mean, I thought the same when I heard her explanation about art, but Rosemary-san is quite good at explaining, and her teaching method is easy to understand.
[By the way, what is your favorite flower, Rosemary-san? I guess it would be the rose?]
[Hmmm, I guess so. I'm not sure what to answer if I'm asked how much I like which kind of flower, but the one I like the most would have to be roses... Though perhaps, being a Rose Spirit, I may just have favorable thoughts of my own kind.]
[I like roses a lot too. They look gorgeous and they have many different kinds, so they're fun to look at.]
[Unnn. As Kaito-kun said, their variety is one of the charms of roses. The area over there was where roses are planted, so shall we go there?]
[Yes, by all means. Do you also have rare roses among them?]
[That's right. I'm raising a variety known as Ord Roses, and other than those, I'm also raising some roses that are no longer seen anywhere else.]
As she spoke, Rosemary-san calmly explained about roses. There are roses in her garden that have beautiful colors but are apparently vulnerable to climate change, and there are also some of them that are almost extinct in the wild.
From what I heard, it seems that each type of rose has its own small barrier to control the temperature and other factors. I guess her passion for flowers is that extraordinary.
I mean, Rosemary-san looks really happy when she's talking about flowers, as my attention has also been fully drawn by her. Walking around like this is kinda nice.
