[Third Person POV]
"I have to you bugs are quite powerful enough that you have pushed me so far. I shall admire thy strength but now you death in inevitable."
The boss said as he looked around and put on of the swords on his shoulder.
" First of all! Take of that helmet and show me that ugly face of yours."
Ryujin shouted below the room. His voiced echoed and was repeated again. Anger was clearly seen on the knight. Even though his face was hidden, his body language spoke enough.
"Just cause you have a attractive face, does not mean thy the power to stop me."
The boss replied back. It was noticeable that the boss was jealous of Ryujin's face and it was weird for a boss to have its own sentiment. After all these monsters are made up of cumulation of mana and do not have an ounce of feelings inside of them except having the desire to kill.
"Well, thank you for calling handsome and you are quite humble as well for admitting you are ugly but you were wrong about one thing. I can kill you and rip that helmet right off your face."
Ryujin again mocked the boss. It let out the ominous aura and its desire to kill Ryujin was now even higher compared to before. Ryujin looked at Cary and gave him a signal.
Cary understood what he meant and then casted a magic spell. The ground below Aqua and Ryujin moved upward and brought both of them to the main boss room.
" Did you really have to taunt him like that?"
Adam said to Ryujin.
"I did not taunt him, look at it and tell me you have not seen something more hideous than this in your entire life. Even by seeing a part of its head, I can confidently say it is the most grotesque thing in existence."
Ryujin replied back as he pointed at the boss. Ryujin knew what he was doing and it definitely was working. The boss's aura got even stronger and the rest of the team looked at Ryujin and thought.
' He definitely was a devil advocate in their past life.'
The boss had enough of Ryujin's talk, it rushed straight at him and swung one of the swords vertically. He just stepped at bit to his left and the sword landed on his right.
Cary immediately casted a magic spell. The floor around the sword moved and trapped it inside a dome like structure. It definitely was not enough to stop it completely but would give them a chance to attack.
Lucius, Adam and Akio launched themselves at the boss and attacked it.
"Heavenly sword: Solitary Slash."
"Light Manipulation: Scorching Ray."
" Lightning Chain."
The three initiated the attack. The boss was moved its right hand and tried to cut all three of them.
"Not so fast."
Ryujin jumped towards the sword. He parried the sword and ran up the sword. Once he was close to its wrist, he used Kairos and erased some parts of its wrist.
"ARGHH!"
The knight screamed in pain. It had never felt such agony in its entire life. It then knew that Ryujin was not bluffing when he said he could kill it. The Knights hand was too big and Kairos range was not enough to cut is off completely but the wrist was dangling and some of it was erased. Ryujin leaned and erased all of it.
The knight again screamed, it could not do anything against Ryujin. Blood started forming around its eyes. It was going to spawn hundreds of spikes and fire it without any aim. It did not care, all it wanted was Ryujin to get away from it.
"Swish."
Two water spears hit the boss in its eye. It did not destroy the eye however block the blood attack. Aqua knew he would miss if he fired an arrow so he chose to use his water magic instead. The boss was blinded and could not see anything in front of it. The attack launched by Akio, Adam and Lucius hit it and added more to its suffering.
The lightning and the light combines and stunned the boss but did not do that much damage and Akio's attack made a cut on its abdomen.
The boss fell on its knees. The pain that Ryujin gave him was incomparable. He could not even regenerate it. It quickly got up on its feet and released a red mist from its mouth to block everbody's view but it back fired.
Ryujin casted a fire magic.
"Fire magic: Ignition."
The fire magic lit the mist on fire and burned the whole helmet.
"Arghhh!"
The blood flowing from its hand floated to put out the fire. The boys were ready to attack again but the blood put out the fire and it disappeared.
'The ghost ability'
Ryujin said to himself.
"Watch out is ability of ghost is far stronger than the mobs were fought."
The other ghost could only disappear in darkness but the knight easily went invisible even thought the room was bright. Ryujin could not use the Nagis eye as his friends would notice. The sixth sense was guiding him.
'Behind Cary.'
Ryujin threw his knife at Lucius. The knife flew past Lucius and managed to block a blood spike. Lucius did not know what had happened but he knew if Ryujin was late then he would be dead by now. Ryujin had attached the knife with the string of his hand wrap. He pulled it back and continued to block the spike that was fired at everybody.
'How does he do this?'
They thought.
All of a sudden Ryujin could sense thousand of spikes in the air and it had surrounded all of them
"Get behind me."
Ryujin ordered his friends. They did not question him and immediately went behind his back.
"Swish."
The boys could only hear the spikes cutting through the air and Ryujin blocking it with Kairos. Ryujin kept erasing the attacks for ten minutes straight, none of them managed to touch them.
"Thy are quite strong. Even at such a age thy have gained such power. Why not use thy power to rule rather then help such insects"
By insects it meant Ryujin's friends.
"You are talking a lot for someone who is about to die."
Ryujin replied back. If he wanted he do anything but power does not give someone the right to rule over other.
'A leader is not someone who is loved for his power, that person is not a leader but a dictator.'
Ryujin could sense where he was but he could not move. The boss could fire the same attack again and they would not be able to block or dodge an invisible attack at their level but the his friends were tired and they could not rewind time like Ryujin. He had to finish this battle as soon as possible.
"Cary take this."
Ryujin took out the Serpent shield he had kept and it was the perfect time to use it. Cary caught the shield and just by its weight and the mana flowing through he knew that the shield was powerful.
"Wind magic: Mist"
Slowly smoke came out of Ryujin's body and covered the whole arena. The boss said as he could still see them even in the mist and they were in the same place.
"What is the use of blocking my view if you cannot see."
Just as the boss was talking it felt mana at its back. It immediately threw some blood spikes at it but it was blocked and instead a fireball was thrown at the it. The boss dodged the fireball easily but he did not understand how all of them were able to move so fast when he was clearly observing them.
It again looked at the same spot where the party was grouped at but none of them were there. It again looked around the arena and noticed all of them in an instant but it was too late.
"Water magic: Blop"
Aqua casted a spell and a big water ball was above the boss. The ball popped and made the boss wet.....not in a sexual way. The water did not do any damage.
Lucius then fired a high level lightning bolt. The boss tried to dodge but its feet were already stuck inside the ground. The lightning hit it and its combination with water made the attack even more deadly. Now it could not move because of the stun damage.
Adam who was behind Cary jumped. His katana was covered in bright light. He swung the sword at the vertebrae and managed to cut it in half. At the same time, Akio swung his sword at the neck and managed to cut it in half.
Even though the head was cut off and the boss was dead, it still had some conscious left in it. The mist in the area cleared and the boss could see Ryujin with a bored expression on his face.
'Is that all you could do?'
The boss could read his thoughts just from his expression and though to itself.
'I must have been unlucky that a monster like you decided to come to my dungeon.'
