[Third Person POV]
The award ceremony ended at 9:30 pm and the classes would start from 10:45. Ryujin went to the room and sat there for a while. He looked at the medal and the badge that he was just awarded. He did not protect anyone for this but he felt good to receive the awards.
He left the room and saw Ciel standing outside. She was about to open the door and now her face was only few inches away from Ryujin's.
'Too close.'
She was about to walk away but Ryujin caught her hand and pulled her inside the room. He closed the door and slightly pushed Ciel towards the door. She was taken back by Ryujin's behaviour but she did not dislike it a bit.
"Ryujin there is a cctv in this place."
As she said that she tried to slowly get away from Ryujin. He caught her hand again and did not let her move.
"Don't worry, that cctv will not work for a while."
'System.'
[On it.]
The system disabled the cctv and erased the moment Ryujin pulled in Ciel.
"Why are you avoiding me?"
Ryujin asked her in a polite and low tone.
"Um, I am not avoidi-"
"Don't look down Ciel, look at me and tell me the truth."
Ciel made eye contact with Ryujin and she got lost in his eyes. The warmth and worry in his eyes were visible. How could she lie when the eyes she loved showed concern for her?
"I was going to come to your room for our usual blood sucking session but my friends entered the room. I tried to message and receive your call but Emily butted in and she would probably find out about is if I would pick up your calls."
"Oh so it was just that."
Ryujin replied to her feeling relieved.
'Is that it?'
Ciel thought that Ryujin would get angry at her for avoiding him but instead he was happy after she said that.
"Aren't you angry with me?"
"No! Why would I be angry with you? You had to hide about us because you did not want to cause any sort of trouble for me. I was just worried that I had done something to make you upset."
Ciel was happy that her partner tried to understand her and was considerate of his feelings. She had not been in a relationship before but she knew that she had fallen in love with the right person. She hugged Ryujin.
" I know we have to hide our love form the world but honestly, I really do not want to hide it."
"Don't worry. I have a plan where we can meet without having any trouble at all."
Ryujin said with a weird grin on his face.
The both of them walked out of the room and headed towards the exit. They could see their friends waiting for them in the reception area.
"Why are the both of you together?"
Adam and Emily asked at the same time.
" I wanted to be with her."
Ryujin gave a straight forward answer. Ciel blushed and looked down. Alice, Akio, Anna, Emily, Cary and Aqua also were shocked and blushed a bit. Lucius did not have any sort of reaction. Adam on the other hand grew even more suspicious.
"What is going on between you two? I have been noticing you guys getting close and a too cozy with each other."
Adam had been aware of Ciel since the cafeteria incident. He did not like since then. He even asked Arlo to change Ryujin's group member with anybody other than Ciel but Arlo did not accept. He knew that Ciel had apologised but Adam still did not like Ciel. But recently he observed these two sharing moments you would not see two normal 'classmates' share.
As his suspicion grew, Paul and George joined them.
"How did you guys enter? The security is really tight."
Cary asked them. Nobody was allowed to get inside the arena so it was odd that two students were allowed to enter.
"Your class professor recognised us and he let us enter since we are your friends."
Arlo was tasked to guard Ryujin but still everyone except Ryujin and Adam found it odd for Arlo to let in these two cause they could be villains in disguise. Though none of them said it out loud.
"Anyway, why had Paul got the face of an asian parent who is about to beat his kids with his belt?"
Paul said that as he looked at Adam skeptically.
"yeah! I remember his dad making that face when he found our his search history."
Ryujin looked at Adam as he said that.
"Do not make me remember that incident. It still hunts me to this day and do not try to change the topic. Tell me what happened between you two?"
Adam still wanted an answer for Ryujin. Ciel was annoyed by him.
'Has this guy never heard of privacy? I know you are his best friend but still this is a bit too much?'
Ryujin looked at Ciel and had a smile on his face.
" I did not want you guys to know about us this early but there is no point in hiding it anymore."
He then grabbed Ciel's hand. All of them were shocked, specially Adam. His eyes almost dropped out of his socket.
"We are dating."
Ryujin dropped a huge bomb.
"WHAT????"
All of them shouted, even Ciel.
'Wasn't this supposed to be a secret?'
All of them had hundreds of questions in there head. They did speculate them to be close but not this close in this short amount of time.
"I am really telling the truth. You guys look like have a lot to ask so lets go to the cafeteria and talk. I could cook but class is going to start. Plus free meals from now on."
Ryujin led the way as he held hands with Ciel. He eventually let go since there would be other people watching them.
Their friends who were looking at them from the back had the same thought.
'This guy must be the god of romance.'

"Hey aren't they the students who just received awards today."
"Yeah! I did not know that they were friends."
"But who are the two other boys."
" How can you not know who they are. That is Emmitt George, the prodigy alchemist and Noboru Paul, the greatest musician of our generation."
"WOW! Their friend circle is really cool and by the looks on their face they must be talking about something serious."
Little did this people knew what they were talking about. These twelve went to the cafeteria together. Ryujin ordered some noodles while the others did not order anything cause they were still shocked.
"Slurp! The noodles are really good. You guys are fool not to try them."
Ryujin said as he took a bite from the noodles.
"Forget about the noodles. Tell me who confessed first."
Emily was eager to hear the love story between those two. She could not control her excitement.
"I confessed to her and she immediately accepted it. I has been a week since we started dating."
Ryujin whispered it to them and made sure nobody else could hear it.
Cielo could only look down and blush.
"Kyahh!"
Anna and Alice squealed at the same time.
Adam had a sour face. He did not want to believe and did not want to accept it. Ryujin saw his expression.
" Actually I was not planning on telling you guys about this but Emily and Adam got suspicious about us. I hope you guys can keep it a secret. We do not want anybody else to know about this."
Ryujin did not want to reveal this to the whole world just yet. His friends nodded and they would hide this deep within their hearts.
"But why don't you want others to know?'
Aka asked him.
"Well, I now have a bounty on my head and the villains might be after Ciel once they know she is mine. I do not want to put her in danger and do not want any kind of unnecessary attention right now."
Ryujin gave a straightforward answer. This time excluding Ryujin all of them blushed when they said "she is mine."
Adam looked at Ciel and asked her.
"Tell me Ciel. Do you really lov-love him."
He stuttered when saying love....he was not as shameless as Ryujin.
Ciel knew that Adam had asked her about this sincerely.
'I am glad Ryujin had friends like this who care about his decision and choices but it is quite hard to admit I love him in front of so many people.'
She looked at Ryujin and he also was looking at her.
' This plan of yours for us just to meet privately was really out of nowhere but that means I can meet you more often now.'
Cielo turned her head and looked at Adam.
" I love- love him. I really do from the bottom of my heart and every cell on my body."
Smoke was coming out of her head as she said that. Adam felt sincerity in her words. He smiled at Ryujin and Ryujin did the same.
Ryujin stood up from his seat.
"Now that you guys know we are dating, I want you guys to act as a decoy for us so we can spend some time together and alone."
'This dude planned to use us from the start.'
All of them though that.
" Now lets go singles, we have classes now."
Ryujin said and gave a mocking smile to them. Cielo giggled and she also stood up.
'These two love birds are really going to rub it into our skin that we are single.'
The ten of them could only sigh.
