[Third Person POV]
Ryujin tried to control his anger but it was leaking out from him. Genda started sweating. He feared that he might get smashed again.
"Mr Flint. Is there any problem?"
Ryujin closed his eyes and took some deep breaths. There was no need to lose control and act cause of his anger.
"I am fine. How long has this been going on for?"
"Umm....this factory was made 20 years ago and was made to only make weapons but one year ago we decided to change it to a mana beast breeding factory."
This big of an area with so many factpries mist have produced a large number of weapons but the man question was how did they manage to sell it? Transportinh weapons
should have been a tough task and there was a high risk of getting caught by the heroes.
'Not just weapons how did they manage to kidnap the mana beasts? I have not sensed a single teleportation circle inside this area. What kind of magic are they even using?'
"The person who made this must be quite a capable magician."
Ryujin wanted to know made this place and Genda was definitely not going to reject his curiosity.
"This place is not man made but we are actually in the stomach of one of the guards of the demon kings, Beelzebub."
'What? This whole area is a stomach....and of Beelzebub. That cannot be possible. I clearly remember what happened that day so how have they managed to get his stomach.'
Beelzebub was one of the strongest demon to ever exist. It was mainly because he could swallow anything and send it to absolute void. So if the stomach existed to send anything to void it was impossible for something to exist inside it....except for two certain existence.
Ryujin stood up. He put on his hood again and turned around.
"Give me a tour of this place."
" As you command."
Genda hurriedly stood up from his seat and opened the door for Ryujin before he could open it himself.
"Hey carry this barrel we will need to control it."
"The Pegasus on the section A-13 is out of control."
"Call every villain and try to control it. If it goes out of control do not hesitate to kill it."
The villains were casually walking around and working. Most of them were shouting at each other and rushing towards a certain factory. They noticed Ryujin and Genda. All of them for a moment stood in their place and did the demon hand sign, which was putting your middle and ring finger and holding it using the thumb while the other remaining fingers stood straight. It was a rock sign that people do when they listen to rock but this sign was also called the demon sign. They put their hand on their heart and greeted Genda.
'Even these garbage know something about discipline and honour.'
Genda waved his hand and all of them got back to work. Even though Ryujin was in front of them they did not seem to notice him....he had already minimized his presence using Kairos. Ryujin followed the herds of the villains heading to one of the factories. Genda also behind Ryujin.
Once Ryujin entered the factory he could see many beasts caged behind an electrocuted mana barrier. Each of these cages was divided into different sections. The villains stopped behind one of the biggest sections. A Pegasus that was meant to be trapped inside had somehow escaped. The villains were hitting it with their weapons but none of them were trying to put it to comfort.
Seeing this cemented one fact for Ryujin.
'These shits do not deserve to live.'
He was the kindest towards the good and the cruellest towards the bad. Nobody is born good or evil but once someone decides to kill then they must be ready to be killed as well.
For a moment the Pegasus made eye contact with Ryujin. Its eyes were filled with sorrow and pain but it could see two bright purple eyes looking at it with sympathy. For some reason it could clearly see through Ryujin's disguise. The green and the brown in Ryujin's eye made it feel as if it was in the jungle again....where it could fly, without any chains bounding it to the ground. It missed that feeling and had given up on that and now it had finally had the chance to escape but when its eye saw Ryujin.
' I am going to get freed but not now. I will have to wait. The existence in front of me will do it.'
The villains wondered why the Pegasus stopped its struggle. All of them turned back and saw Genda but did not 'see' Ryujin.
"The Pegasus got afraid beacause of the leader's presence."
"Even the beast knows who it should not mess with."
Genda did not know what had happened but he did not care when he was receiving such compliments.
"You guys are pathetic not being able to handle such a weak beast. Quickly put it back before it decides to rebel again."
The Pegasus laid down and gave up it struggle. The villain quickly put the chains back and prisoned it inside the cage. Ryujin got out of the cage and Genda followed him. As Ryujin had ordered, Genda gave him a tour of the whole place. The mana beasts here were captured. They were experimented on. Their seeds were taken out and fertilized in artificial eggs. The food they were given was basically sludge and their health was deteriorating.
" If feeding them this kind of sludge makes them not so efficient then why not feed them a nutritious diet? Won't they die if this diet goes on"
What Ryujin asked was a logical question. If you want to yield great results then you choose the best food and other materials. Otherwise the subjects will die ending all of their efforts to breed them.
" It is their fault for being so weak and not being able to digest such a quality of food. We are already spending money on them and even if they die we can always bring other beasts for their replacement."
There was no amount of nutrition inside the food. It was so bad that it would be shameful to call it food. Obviously, Ryujin was pissed by Genda's remark but he decided that this was not the time to let his anger out.
After wandering in this place for a while Ryujin was sure of one thing.
'This place definitely isn't Beelzebub's stomach. It must be one of the devils who was contracted to him and received a portion of his power.'
Demons and Devils were different. Demons had emotion, family and could consciously make choices but Devils wanted one one thing and that was carnage. They were cold-hearted murderers that could kill anybody for their own enjoyment but usually worked together with demons as their magic and body constitution were quite similar.
Ryujin now needed a way to destroy this whole place while saving the mana beast and without making too much commotion and he had found a perfect puppet to do that.
" Genda prepare everything that I need to come back here on my own without anybody knowing. I need that by tomorrow.Wait for me at the back of the building and I will come here again at the same time and will gift you something valuable for your hard work."
"Thank you for your kindness."
Ryujin then came near and put his hand on Genda's shoulder.
"Now escort me back. I do not have a way to go back and remember one thing do not tell your father or anybody about me and you shall receive what you want. The position of the head of the Balcom family and the Pegasus guild and also Lily Haema."
Genda was shocked when Ryujin said that. The fact that he wanted Lily was well known to his father and some other people but he had told nobody that he wanted to become the head of the Balcom family and the Pegasus guild.
" How do you know? I haven't-"
"It is not about how I know Genda. Right now focus on assisting me and I will ask the demon lord to fulfill your wishes after all the demon lord favours me a lot. If he didn't favour me then he would not have given so much power and authority."
Genda gulped. His greed was slowly taking over him. The dreams he could only think of as dreams could be reality and all he needed to do was please one man. Of course he would take Ryujin's offer because that was who he was one of the greediest human to have ever taken birth
' Finally, I can become the master of this world and have everything under my control.'
Little did he know he had already become the puppet of the most powerful and manipulative human to ever exist.
