Chapter 105 - 0105 Without a doubt, I'm full of good qualities

"Is there some kind of personal beef between you and Lynch?"

Taylor was the first to tell everyone about the outcome of her meeting with Lynch when she returned to the Association, and Julie was soon approached by a phone call to the Association's side.

Two thousand jobs for women in these hard times was enough to put the Sabine Women's Advocacy Association in the state and national spotlight.

Once public opinion has caught up, the higher associations are bound to increase their attention on this side of the country.

With attention and real merit, more support can be received from the community, and everyone is a little better off.

Organizing demonstrations, holding rallies, paying the salaries of the association's full-time staff, and daily consumption all cost money.

But as a non-business civic organization, they do not have their own operating agency and can only rely on grants from higher associations and social sponsorships, as well as some spontaneous donations.

Two thousand jobs were enough to get them out of their current situation, so when everyone heard about it, Julie was immediately vocalized.

The president of this side of the chapter was also a lady in her early to mid-forties, most of these people who were involved in the women's rights movement were that age, and those who were older were more traditional in their thinking, and they didn't have the energy or stamina to get involved in this, and they wouldn't even feel that they were unhappy and that their lives were miserable.

Only the younger ones would appreciate it, want more power equal to that of men, and be willing to devote themselves to it.

The president's name was Eleanor and she came from a middle class family, which was true, the president of the state association in this state was also said to come from a political family, and sometimes they knew more about how this society worked than the average woman.

Eleanor's question made Julie's head spin, and she sensed something called "hostility" in the eyes of the others.

She didn't know what had happened, but suddenly the sisters who had been fighting for Lynch's justice for her the previous night had changed direction and were targeting her.

Her face turned slightly white as she shook her head, dismissing the President's view, "Yesterday was the first time I met Lynch, there is no conflict between us?"

It was at this point that the man who had met with Lynch - whose job it was to be the Association's labor lawyer, and any well-established institutional organization needed to have its own lawyer - suddenly added a comment after they had said goodbye to Lynch.

He was talking about the issue of Julie's attire yesterday and thought it might be a problem.

At this point the lawyer said quietly, "Yesterday you were wearing an open shirt and a very short skirt, weren't you?"

Julie didn't know what that meant and hesitated, but nodded and admitted that there were some things she couldn't hide and that she didn't think she didn't have the right to choose what she wore.

The freedom to dress as she wished was also a power that had been fought for since the women's rights movement, and was considered, along with makeup and the like, one of the most successful affirmative action programs.

The lawyer nodded again, "You tried to seduce Lynch but it didn't work and you all developed some kind of hatred or even hatred for him, didn't you?" The lawyer finished, ignoring Julie's wide-eyed look of disbelief, and continued, "I interviewed some of the people who are more familiar with you during the morning and they all commented on your dress as 'conservative.' ... "

He shut up at that point, and although he didn't continue, under his guidance, the expressions of the women in the conference room changed dramatically, including President Eleanor's.

Everyone here knew Julie, and in the past, Julie had often stood up for the Women's Advocates Association with the players and supported them in the court of public opinion, and in the eyes of these people, Julie was indeed a person who dressed conservatively.

Also, she works for a professional sports team that is all male, so if she dresses too revealingly, she could potentially cause some trouble or even danger.

As much as society doesn't want to admit it, it has to be recognized that the culture and personal qualities of these professional athletes, including their knowledge of the law, are below par.

Sometimes, as a group, they would often break out in some mind-boggling scandal, so wearing a pop rate in front of that person was not only inconvenient, but also dangerous.

A person who dresses conservatively suddenly becomes dressed in a revealing ... dress, no matter what her original purpose is, now it can't be explained.

"I didn't do it, this is a false accusation against me, this is slander!" Julie's face turned a bit white, she was completely at a loss as to why the situation had suddenly reversed.

She looked at those who were usually on good terms with her, but none of these "good sisters" had the slightest reaction to her pleas for help.

Taylor spoke up next, "I've met with Lynch as well, he's more than willing to communicate and resolve our differences before they spread, he's a very polite boy."

Perhaps there was a slight problem with the word she used, some eyes went to her and she explained slightly, "Lynch is only twenty as far as I know, and he'll be twenty-one when the fall rolls around."

There were some stifled gasps from the conference room, they all thought Lynch would be in his thirties, the same age as them, or in his forties, not realizing he was still a big kid.

Sometimes women are so complicated that they can hate a man for no reason, but they can also be inexplicably filled with good feelings for a big boy.

The good feelings for Lynch quickly turned to dissatisfaction with Julie, a grown woman dressed so revealingly in front of a child, what was she trying to do?

President Eleanor's face also became obviously not so nice, Lynch and her child happened to be the same age, which gave her a strong feeling of substitution, she could hardly imagine a reason why Julie would do such a heartless thing!

Was it because she had failed to seduce Lynch and that was why she was so hateful?

The growing number of unkind looks brought Julie a little closer to the edge of losing control of her emotions, and she immediately stated her position that she hadn't done that, as well as repeating her accusation against Lynch - that Lynch wanted to please men by humiliating women, which was the central contradiction!

The attorney directly countered her point: "At its core, sports is about competition, and people's attention is only going to be on the battle between winning and losing, only people with dirty hearts pay attention to what athletes wear, and I don't think there's anything wrong with what Mr. Lynch did."

"Until now, there hasn't been a professional sport in the entire federation designed specifically for women, and that in itself is a potentially discriminatory act, as some people believe that women are simply inferior to men."

"Mr. Lynch will break this rotten and stereotypical mindset, and we believe that soon there will be more professional women's sports in this world, and I even believe that one day women will have the opportunity to compete on the same stage as male athletes."

"It's the way of the times, it's an inevitable development, and I don't see any shame in it!"

Before Julie arrived on the scene, there was already a more unified understanding of the issue; male bodybuilding had also begun to gain popularity in recent years, and more than a few of the married women in the room were guiltily tuning in to those bodybuilding shows.

They looked at these bodybuilders with admiration, and none of them felt that it could be associated with any kind of color vision.

So Julie's point of view just doesn't hold water, and now all of a sudden everyone thinks that Julie is really just creating a contradiction for no reason.

What's even scarier is that she actually tried to seduce a child, it's fucking disgusting!

Faced with a one-sided situation, Julie didn't have the slightest chance to defend herself, all she could do was stand there like a puppet, unsure, afraid and at a loss for words.

Eleanor's attitude rarely had a clear tendency, and finally she had a decision, "I propose to downgrade Ms. Julie's 'Councilor' level to 'Member,' does anyone have any objections? "

Too much shit to object to the president at this point?

Not to mention the fact that everyone thought Julie was wrong!

Soon, the Sabine Women's Rights Defense Association sent out an internal memo talking about the matter and the possibility of working with Lynch.

In just one day, those who hadn't come to the association for half a year or more came back of their own accord and even renewed their dues!

Everyone knew that the reason they came and were still willing to pay the dues wasn't because they liked it here, they were just looking at the jobs!

This also gave the local Women's Rights Protection Association a more urgent sense of power and the need to work with Lynch!
