Over the course of the afternoon, after Lynch performed several Amazing Magic of the Century tricks where he could get a dollar for ninety-seven cents, the three young men smoothly joined in the building of the great empire.
They were soon to begin their promising jobs, and of course the reason for choosing these three young men was not that they were articulate, but that they had thick enough family pockets.
In other words, it means that they have more than enough, money that they can get their hands on, and they will use their money to help Lynch make money, more money, and to thank Lynch for taking them with him to get rich.
In a way, what Lynch is doing now is not "risk averse" in any way, in this case the risk of being imitated.
With non-technical monopoly as a prerequisite, low-tech difficult business will always face the risk of being imitated, which is the ceiling that is difficult to cross for low-tech difficult and low-cost trading, because everyone can do it.
Turning whole money into change, and turning it into more whole money when you get to some people in need looks like something everyone can do, as long as you have a certain amount of change in your hand.
And that's true, but there's just as much of a small problem here, and that's really at the heart of this business, and that's the issue of trust.
Some people are always complaining about the unfairness of the society, both selling the same services, why some people can be so busy that they need customers to queue up, while others are right next door to them, but the door is closed.
The reason is really simple, trust!
Without trust it's like two islands without any connection, there will be no coming and going between them, but with trust, it's like having a bridge, and until the bridge is broken, the connection between the two islands will always remain strong.
Lynch can't stop others from engaging in this business as well, but he has his own advantages.
Taking Richard and three other young people who had their own ideas but were also full of confidence back to the office - a warehouse that Lynch had temporarily rented, he hired two carpenters to simply build an office in the warehouse, and divided the warehouse into two parts.
They will be working in this warehouse which is located outside the city center of the city, the good thing is that the easy access to the city transportation and the special nature of the work that they do not need to come here every day, naturally, they will not complain that the office is far away from the center of the city.
Lynch gave them the assignment that after they had exchanged enough change, they could come over to the office and exchange it with him, and then they could go out and collect change again.
This warehouse office is like a beehive, he is the queen bee, and these employees are the hardworking little bees.
After arranging the trio, Lynch then left as well, needing to chat with Mr. Fox about the rest of the business.
About half an hour later, in that basement Lynch met Mr. Fox again, just as Mr. Fox was about to send for Lynch.
"You're just in time ...", he tossed Lynch a cigarette and walked from behind the table to sit down on the edge of the couch, right next to Lynch.
Thanks to Lynch's help he was now laundering quite a bit of money, and he felt happier than he ever had before as he watched it being sent into the bank from various corners where it couldn't see the light of day.
For the first time, the figures in his bankbook were so satisfying that he was even applying for a book of cash checks for five thousand dollars, which he could squarely use to pay for his purchases outside the home.
The feeling floored him and made him realize more and more how important it was to get the money into the bank, and for that he helped Lynch with a small favor, which is what he was going to talk to Lynch about next.
He took it upon himself to take out his lighter and light Lynch's fire, a gesture that made the burly men around him blush, something Mr. Fox rarely did, he was a proud man!
"... Michael won't trouble you anymore!" , he said with certainty as he looked at Lynch, intending to enjoy Lynch's surprised, shocked, and pleasantly surprised expression, but he realized that Lynch didn't seem to have any of these emotions, and had been very calm and collected as he met his gaze.
He suddenly laughed, "I knew you wouldn't be surprised, this kind of precognition is strange in itself ...", he said and paused, "Never mind, let's not talk about it, Michael has left Sabine City today, and it will take at least ten days before he can return."
"And he won't get too entangled with you when he gets back, I had him warned!" , said he, unable to help but raise his head in a remarkable manner.
It was then that Lynch realized the reason for Michael's sudden return home yesterday afternoon, and came to have some interest in this mature experience, "How do you do it?"
The comment scratched an itch in Mr. Fox, who liked to show off his not-so-bumpy intellect in front of a smart guy like Lynch, "I got lawyers, they should know what to do if they don't want trouble."
At this moment, Lynch suddenly snapped out of it, he had forgotten the biggest difference between this world and the other world, and that was the role of lawyers.
The role of lawyers in this world is amplified to such an extent that they are even more useful than judges on some levels - some judges are not interested in deals, but all lawyers are interested in money.
He silently took these things to heart, maybe he needed a lawyer friend too.
"Thank you very much for everything, Mr. Fox!" , the statement was not polite, Mr. Fox asked his lawyer to make himself known, in fact it was a very proactive act and Lynch had to oblige.
Mr. Fox waved his hand graciously while Lynch continued, "The IRS has been watching me, so I've changed the way we do business slightly ..."
He then talked about his newly formed company and described the new way of trading, which in fact, to put it bluntly, was to make everything public, instead of giving the IRS no way to take them even more.
All Mr. Fox had to do was have his men take some money and exchange it for some change, then take that change to the laundromat under the guise of doing laundry, and the whole process was complete.
Even if there were people from the tax office following those people throughout the whole process, it wouldn't make any sense; how many times a piece of clothing is washed, how it is washed, and how much it is washed belongs to the will of the private person, and that's someone else's own business that no one can interfere with.
But Mr. Fox needed some reliable people to do this, and the advantage of doing so was that everyone would not only be able to do it faster, but with fewer drawbacks.
After talking about all this business Lynch suddenly interjected a question, "Mr. Fox, do you know about light baths?"
Mr. Fox was still a little unresponsive to Lynch's sudden digression, waiting for about a few seconds to pass before he came back to his senses and nodded his head a little, "Of course, I know, are you physically ill in any way?"
Light baths have begun to become inexplicably popular in the past few years, mainly categorized into infrared light baths and ultraviolet light baths, and have become a very fashionable phenomenon among the middle and upper classes.
Many celebrities and socialites are keen on all kinds of light bathing, and the celebrity effect is driving more and more people to join in this fashion movement which seems a bit funny to Lynch.
The covers of many magazines and newspaper centerfolds feature similar young men and women with sunglasses, funny diving hats, and semi-naked bodies bathed in all kinds of light.
The miraculous effects of light baths are so blown out of proportion by the entire community that they almost say that even cancer can be treated by light baths.
Lynch asks about a light bath and Mr. Fox thinks he's in trouble, when in fact Lynch is so healthy that what he needs is not to go for a light bath session, but to have a UV lamp.
