As Caleb walked into the testing area of the Adventurers' Guild, he couldn't help but feel as if he had stepped into another world, one that resonated with the echoes of countless battles fought and won. The large hall was meticulously organized, the air thick with the unmistakable scent of blood and sweat that spoke of relentless training and fierce determination.
The interior reminded him faintly of descriptions he had read of ancient Greek colosseums, though he had never seen one in person. The main arena sat at the center, a vast circular pit lined with sand and surrounded by rising tiers of seats, where spectators could watch the trials and sparring sessions. Along one side of the room, racks of weapons ranging from swords and spears to more exotic armaments were meticulously arranged, each piece gleaming under the bright overhead lights. Adjacent to this, a series of padded areas and practice dummies provided space for warm-ups and technique refinement.
