"It's so cold," I gasped out.
I guess this is where my journey ends. I knew that I would die pretty young since I am an adventurer, but this young!? At the age of 17, not even an adult yet. Anyways, who cares, my life wasn't really the best. I didn't have any family and I spend my days trying to make money to get by. Although I am an adventurer, I don't make too much money because I am the 'bags-man' of the group(I basically carry the group's stuff and anything we find in the dungeon).
As I lay down staring at the top of the crater where I fell, I felt very relaxed, but cold.
This isn't that bad, I thought to myself.
I let of a bit sigh and closed my eyes. I wish I was rich or strong, than life could have been a little more fun. However, wishes are just wishes at the end of the day.
"Hello there young fellow," a old voice had exclaimed.
I opened up my eyes, but instead of the dark dungeon, I woke up to a bright place, almost blinding me. There was also a old man sitting on a coffee table with a little sun cover on top the table.
"Come boy, join me," he said in a calm tone while pointing to the chair infront of him.
"Ok," I said while I stood up and walked to the seat.
"Well boy, sorry to say this, but you died. It's honestly a shame considering that you are so young," the old man said while taking a sip of his tea.
"Um, I guess so, but if you don't mind me asking, who are you and where I'm I?" I questioned.
"Hahaha," he laughed and followed by, "I am what you would call a god, and I am here to give you another chance!"
Oh I see, it's to be expected since monsters and magic exists, god must've have existed too. But putting that aside, I'm I actually going to get a second chance?!?!
"Oh, that's amazing, thank you god."
"No problem, this is what I do after all. Now let's talk business."
"Yes"
"Alright, for your next life, do you have any requests?"
"Um, request huh, how about, I want to become really strong and rich!"
"Oh I see boy, well than your wish is my command"
As he said that, a pool colourful light swirled around me, it was really warm and before I knew it I was gone from that bright place and off on a new journey, not knowing what is to come on my new life.
