Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Finding Out

As Alina looked at her own reflection, Miranda broke into a laughter.

"Hahaha! young master, Are you really that shocked about your beauty?"

She mused.

Alina, no Adrian could not help but frown at her musings.

Seeing this, Miranda eventually stopped laughing and returned to her awkward expression.

Though Adrian frowned, he did not do that to make Miranda stop laughing out of annoyance. What he was worried about was his fate as this character from her rushed novel.

Adrian Lionheart, he was the son of the Duke of Venicia, an extremely wealthy duchy within one of the most lucrative Divisias of the empire, Vitalia.

The empire is divided into 62 Republics, with these Republics acting like the states of his previous world's powerful federation, they are called Divisias. These Divisias are then ruled by a Ducal Council, not having one centralized leader. Obviously, the Emperor stands above all of them.

His role within her novel is that of a minor villain who met the heroine way before the start of the story during their childhood. In the back story, his younger 7 year-old self became infatuated with the heroine, Lumine, and due to his impulsivity, he nearly caused her death.

While Lumine is another blonde hair beauty, just like Adrian, the only difference was that she was a commoner, and he was a noble. But regardless of that, his father disliked hurting and scorning commoners. And that is why in order to punish his son for nearly killing somebody, at the age of 10 years old, he evicted Adrian out of the Lionheart house.

Adrian was forcefully brought to the carriage and was ordered to be sent to the Blackkeraunos Royal Family thousands of miles east to the Kingdom of Bospora.

As for why in a faraway kingdom, it is because Adrian's late mother was the sister of the current King of Bospora, meaning, Adrian is directly related to that client kingdom's Royal Family.

However, just like what happened, midway in the journey towards East, Adrian and his entourage got attacked by a group of assassins and died alongside the others.

Supposedly died though, because later in the canon story, he suddenly appeared out of nowhere and attacked the academy where the main cast was.

He came back as a demon-possessed human who nearly killed the main character, but because of the power of friendship after learning his beloved's back story with the former, Blake beat him to death.

What was supposed to happen still happened, though there was a slight deviation this time, instead of a demon, he is now possessed by the very being that created the blueprint for this universe.

"Young master, please eat"

Miranda requests as she carefully placed the bowl of meat stew in front of Adrian.

Adrian is now within the quaint dining room of this rustic cabin, being served his first meal in a long time.

"It is a good thing young master is still able to stably walk despite being bedridden for a month"

"What?"

The lady flinched at Adrian's reaction.

"Oh, yes you did young master, you slept for a month straight, though that would be normal if we talk about the state you were in when we found you"

Adrian became silent and looked straight in her eyes.

"How was I when you found me?"

Miranda looked at Adrian with a thoughtful look and went straight into deep thinking.
