Back to the present.
'I had to escape but I didn't know how. After being captured, the enemy Caprow took everything that could be of use. Luckily when the apocalypse started we all gained abilities and I had the power of fire. It was a rank C ability according to Jake. I don't know how he knew this. He might have a system with an appraisal skill but who am I kidding.'
I looked around and saw a sharp rock that could cut of the rope and you might be asking just burn it but I don't have fire resistance so I could burn myself. I leaped forward while being stuck in the chair shoveling over to the rock. I reached over and grabbed it. I slowly started cutting the rope.
Then I heard foot steps, I hid the rock under my ass on the flat side it would cut my ass or pierce threw the fabric of my clothes.
Caprow walked into the room with a creepy grin. He has the power of telekinesis.
"What are you doing buddy? Where's your best friend Jake, huh? You can't escape I'll keep you as a bargaining chip against Jake so he can't defeat me."
"Sorry Caprow, but he won't be coming back he's probably enjoying his life with 3 girls all around him." I said as I continued to cut the rope subtly.
He started laughing and said " If he won't come then I'll make him but before that let's help put a grin on your face."
'Oh yeah, have I mentioned this dudes crazy in the head?'
He grabbed a knife from his pocked and he slowly walked towards me. I started to cut the ropes faster then ever and when he got close enough I cut it loose and burned his face.
"GAAAAH"
He was momentarily blinded so I got up and kicked his nuts forcing him on the grind holding it and he grit his teeth in pain. I continued beat him up and only one thing was on my mind.
'Fight back, fight back dude. Why don't you fight back looser.' My mind was not in the right place there.
After I beat him unconscious and dragged his with me I got out of there only to see Jake and the girls standing there in a huddle murmuring
"Jake, should we save him?" Jane asked.
"No, we should run" Said another girl with navy blue hair, her name was Aria.
"I agree with Aria." Said the other girl with blond hair, her name was Charlotte.
"Alright it's decided let's go back get stuff and comeback." Jake said.
'No one suggested that dumbass'
"Hey guys." I as I joined them.
"Clark you're safe." Jake said relieved.
"No thanks to you guys."
"Clark, you ungrateful-" Charlotte threatened
"Ungrateful? What did you guys do that would require me to be thankful?"
"We gave you a home!" Yelled Aria clearly frustrated by my attitude.
"What do you mean, I found it." I corrected
"Broth-" Jane muttered before being interrupted
"And you, I'm your brother and you didn't even want to go save me before asking Jake for his opinion?"
Jane was silent
"Let's just go back I'm tired." I groaned as I walked towards our hideout that was located in an abandoned mansion in the middle of the wood and the others followed suit.
