Chapter 3 - chapter 3

It's been 10 days since i set out to sail. The first two days on the sea were surprisingly calm. The weather was calm, and the sun was out during the day. The nights had some strong waves that I had to cut sometimes, but overall, the sea was calm. Then came the third day, the morning and afternoon were fine with no weather disturbances. Then came the night. At first nothing happened, until the clouds started to darken, and then the wind started to change. I had to direct the ship every 20 seconds to make sure lightning didn't hit the sails or the mast. This continued on until the morning. I was exhausted but stayed up just in case . Then in the middle of the morning, the waves started to come. I unsheathed Gryphon before cutting the waves until the afternoon. I did take some lunch breaks, but had to continue my fight with the waves. This was my routine for 8 days until yesterday. Thankfully, the continuous assaults of the waves let me get accustomed to using Gryphon and some sword slashes. Armament haki came in clutch as it assisted me in making sure any waves that were too big were cut. Using it felt strange to me and coating it on Gryphon was even stranger but the constant waves and weather assaults made me get used to it fast enough. Which brings me back to today. I jumped and landed on the deck with dark swirls on my eyes. Almost constantly using sword slashes coated in armament haki can do that to you. I was just about to finally to sit down when my observation alerted me to a ship nearing my ship. I froze for a moment as I felt my nerves almost break before I walked to the front of my ship only to be met with a pirate ship that had a weird jolly roger. I didn't pay it anymore than 5 seconds before unleashing three sword slashes filled with killing intent at the ship. I turned around as the ship turned into scattered wooden piles as i laid down. I sighed is i looked at the pirates struggling to stay alive and I murmured " At least that somewhat lessened my irritation.'' I laid down on the deck and covered my eyes with the strawhat i dozed off to dreamland to finally catch some Zs. .........….15 hours later................................ I looked at the approaching island in joy as I finally arrived close to saobody's docks. I never thought I would be so happy to see land after 9 straight days of traveling on the sea. I wonder how other pirates deal with the boredom and the weather changes. As i thought about that, i docked my ship and jumped off the ship. " First things first, some food and some boozes.'' As I said that, I walked past different ships with different jolly rogers before arriving at a mangrove sign. I continued not even bothering with reading it and I walked forward. After a few minutes I started to see some houses and people walking by. The majority seem to be pirates and merchants with some occasional normal run in the mill citizens. I stopped occasionally to ask for directions from the local citizens before I finally arrived at a restaurant. I stepped into the restaurant and walked ahead to an empty seat. A minute later, waiter was in front of me as I got ready to order what was on the menu..
