Heaven, escorted by Nora and eight maids, went to the arena. All the people of the kingdom gathered to watch the fight. But her brothers are nowhere to be found, propably because they already know the results. The King, elders, officials and members of the royal family all sat under a big beautiful sky blue tent. All the contestants gave Heaven deathly stares. And Heaven just smirked at them.
Everyone is present except Eugene and Lucas. Heaven sat next to Angel as they wait for them. "How are feeling?" Angel asked.
"Never been better" l said smilingly. She smiled too. She was about to say something when Eugene and Lucas entered. Everyone stood up and paid their respects to the king. He stared at Heaven for a while before signing that the fight should begin . Heaven went to stand in the arena. And the first girl to fight was Anna. Heaven had thought it would be Samantha that will fight her first. Surprisingly, she is the last girl she'll fight. There are over six contestants. But Heaven wasn't planning on fighting either of them, because to her, none of them are worth her time.
There is a long table on the other side of the arena. There are different kinds of weapons on it, from which the contestants will choose from. Anna chose a whip. She smirked dangerously at Heaven. While Heaven just looked at her with a blank face.
"I have wanted the position of queen for a long time ago. I won't allow some low-level demon to take it from me" she said sassily. "Don't worry, this would be over before you know it" she said as she took an attack stance. All the people began to cheer her name.
"Low-level demon huh. Such poor senses. Too bad you won't allow me to teach her a lesson" Venice said.
"She'll be sorry soon" said Irene.
Anna flinged her whip towards her. Heaven dodged the first one and then grabbed it by it's tip. Anna held it tight on the other end. Heaven pulled the whip, pulling Anna along with it. When Anna was close enough, she immediately grabbed her by her neck and look into her eyes. When Anna's eyes turned purple, which means that she's under her control, she let her go.
Anna went down on her knees. "Master, what do you want me to do?" She said.
"I'm tired right now. So l want you to fight in my place today" said Heaven.
"Your wish is my command", then she stood up and faced the blue tent , "my master is tired. So l will fight in her place" she said casually like she wasn't under Heaven's control. Everyone began to murmur. Most were wondering what happened.
"Are you certain that's what you want?" Eugene asked. Anyone can see that he's pleased with what happened.
"Yes my king" Anna said.
"Do as you wish then". Heaven smiled, because she knows he said that wholeheartedly.
"Master, please sit here and don't stress yourself" Anna made her sit down on a clean surface, away from the fight. Heaven looked at Samantha, and saw that she was really mad.
'Actually, on a second thought, l think l'll fight her myself', she thought. She sat and watched as Anna fought the other contestants one by one. She defeated the second girl rather easily. But the third girl was tougher, they fought and injured each other badly. But Anna defeated her in the end. The fourth one was more tough. 'Now l realize they arranged them according to how powerful they are' Heaven thought. The fourth one really injured Anna. Now Heaven is starting to feel guilty. When Anna managed to defeat the girl. Heaven went to her.
"Go and rest. I'll take it from here"
"No master, l can still fight" Anna said and tried to get up but fell back. Heaven healed her and helped her up. "It's okay, go and recuperate. I'll handle it from here" she said.
"Thank you master. Thank you for caring about me" Anna said before leaving.
"Maybe you should have let her stay. You are not so tough without your puppets, are you?" The fifth girl smirked. "Go and pick your weapons, l don't fight unarmed opponents" she said as she swayed her daggers in her hands. "But l don't fight with weapons. So let's just get on with it" Heaven said sassily.
