Nicholai and Heaven began to set up the instruments and herbs they needed. . "We need a lot candles in the room, and also someone with good fire powers to keep them burning" said Heaven. Nicholai smiled, "l know that, l can detoxify one of the ice curses remember?" He said. "Oh yes, l'm sorry l've forgot. It seems all of the ice curses requires this step" said Heaven. Nicholai nodded. Heaven took out a small case containing small green pills. She gave Hiro one of the pills "Hiro take this pill, it will lessen the pain". Hiro took the pill, "thank you Heaven" . "Everything is ready, let's begin" said Nicholai.
Heaven used her powers to block Hiro's meridians and channels.
Heaven : Can you please merge the chromatic grass together with the luminous campanula?
Nicholai : okay.
Nicholai put a piece of cloth into Hiro's mouth. They made Hiro sit in a water filled bath tub. Heaven poured different types of powdered and liquidated herbs into the water. The water became hot because of the strong herbs. The process hasn't even started yet, and Hiro's body was already beginning to react. "My body is feeling weird" he said. "Yes it will, it's the ice curses reacting to the herbs". Heaven made two cuts on each sides of Hiro's back and made two bottles float right in front each of them. Nicholai finished merging the two plants and they became a whole new plant entirely. Heaven took the plant and began to transfer the plant's energy into Hiro. The plant's energy began to battle with the ice curse in Hiro's body, with the battle of supremacy between a voracious poison and the energy of two merged powerful herbs inside his body, Hiro's body began to tremble. Gradually, he began to feel pains all over him. As Heaven continued to transfer the merged plants energy the pain increased, and Hiro began to scream in agony.
Although the walls are sound proof, Angel could still feel his pain through the mate bond, and it hurts her. When Eugene saw her situation, he held tight to his chest and began to caress her back. "Don't worry it's gonna be okay" he said. "He is in pain brother. I can feel it, it's killing me. Just think about how he is feeling" she sobbed. "He has to endure it, you have to endure it. After this, he won't be in pain anymore" said Eugene.
A tear ran down Heaven's cheek upon seeing Hiro in so much pain. Nicholai grounded the devil's weed and the burning lotus into a liquid pulp. And according to Heaven's instructions, he dipped twenty four needles in it for fifteen minutes. After Heaven finished the energy transfer , she took twelve needles and inserted them deep into his body. She poured another set of powdered herbs and three drops of unicorn blood into the water. The unicorn blood turned the water into red, all of the herbs the water separated and turned into bright energies and started to enter Hiro's body. Hiro began to feel dizzy . "Hiro please try to stay awake, you can't sleep now" said Nicholai. " I'm trying" Hiro said tiredly. Heaven mixed a few more drops of unicorn blood with two more herbs and made them into a pill. She gave Hiro the pill, and immediately after he swallowed it, his whole body began to burn up so much that it hurted so bad, Hiro let out another loud scream . The energies evaporating into his body intensified. And the ice curse began to pour out from the two cuts Heaven made on his back. She adjusted the bottles well, the bottles absorbed the ice curse as it poured out.
Heaven took the last two herbs and merged them together, creating a whole new plant. She removed the needles and replaced them with the remaining twelve needles. "Hiro, why not drift yourself into your most happiest memories, l can help you. Perhaps that way you won't feel much pain. This last procedure will hurt more than the previous ones" said Heaven . Hiro nodded in agreement. Heaven entered Hiro's mind, and threw him into his own memories, that way Hiro was lost in his most happiest memories.
Heaven began to transfer the merged plants' energy into his body. Nicholai took another herb, he stood behind Hiro and fused it into his back. He then channelled another herbs energy into the plant in his back. Hiro looks like he is in pain, but the fact that he wasn't screaming means that Heaven's idea worked. After a long while, the plant in his body completely dissolved, and the plant in Nicholai's hand dissipated. The plant in Heaven's hand dissipated few minutes after that.
"What happens now?" Nicholai asked. "Let's wait till the ice curse is completely out of his body" said Heaven. After a few minutes, all of the ice curse in Hiro's body was completely absorbed by the two bottles. They let him stay in the water for thirty more minutes. Nicholai and the other doctor in the theatre helped him lie on the bed. Heaven destroyed the two bottles.
When Nicholai and Heaven came out of the theatre, Angel rushed toward them. "How is he?" She asked. Her face was soaked with tears. Heaven wiped her tears. "He is alright. The ice curse is completely out of his system now. But he is very exhausted and needs rest" said Heaven. Angel smiled and hugged her tight, "thank you so much, Heaven. Thank you so much" she said. She hugged Nicholai too , "thank you so much brother".
