Chapter 42 - Editing Africa

As the battle between light and time began, the clouds cleared, the air cracked, and the world paused. A punch faster than time itself was released by none other than Alfred, also known as Hell's Butler. It all happened in a flash—no one saw what transpired as the man in the golden wrapper vanished. Lilith and Inkosi were left confused, staring at Alfred whose right arm was mangled, bones protruding from his arm due to the force of the punch.

"Alfred, where is he?" Lilith asked, her voice filled with trepidation.

Alfred smiled, albeit painfully. "Look down."

Lilith's mouth widened in shock as she gazed below. What was once a vibrant city now looked like a desolate desert. Alfred had wiped out almost two-thirds of Ghana's population with that single punch, but such power came at a cost.

A punch so powerful that Satan had placed a law on its use, preventing Alfred from using it on anyone under Lucifer's protection.

The trio glided down to survey the aftermath, their eyes searching for the Ghanaian man. To their astonishment, his body lay unscathed, not a single dent visible. Alfred shivered at the sight, a sense of dread creeping over him. As they stood in shock, a man in a golden wrapper walked past them, exuding an aura of authority.

He approached the man wrapped in the golden cloth. "I see you attacked my kingdom and tried to fight our Akan, the god of light," he said.

Lilith backed away, with Inkosi following suit. Alfred hesitated, then did the same. "What did you see?" Alfred asked Lilith.

"That man can resurrect and summon. Use everything we have, or we all die here," Lilith replied, her voice tinged with urgency.

"But Lucifer said I can't use it," Alfred protested.

"HE WILL UNDERSTAND, ALFRED. DO IT," Lilith screamed.

"POWER OF ASHU, RESURRECT MY GOD," Alfred chanted.

Akan immediately stood up, his eyes filled with divine fury. "Thank you, President. I shall bless you after I disintegrate this white fool," he declared, glaring at Alfred.

Alfred looked at Akan, determination steeling his features. "You know what, I don't care. CHRONOS PUNCH!" he shouted.

Using his broken arm, Alfred charged up the same punch. Akan's eyes shined with light as he screamed to the sky, summoning a pillar of thick light from the heavens. "MY LIGHT, PILLAR OF LIGHT," he roared.

Akan sent a pillar of light from above, aiming to smash Alfred down. But Alfred ignored it. "FOOL," he muttered.

BOOM. The punch that the world had to wait for landed squarely on Akan's chest. The pillar of light continued to blaze down on Alfred, but his ability, INVERSE, kept it from harming him. Despite the incredible power, Alfred remained unfazed.

Alfred rushed toward the airborne Akan, who was now unconscious. Hovering above him, Alfred shouted, "CHRONOS PUNCH, MULTITUDE." He unleashed a barrage of punches, each one causing his body to excrete blood. Shouting in pain, Alfred continued to punch, each blow shaving Ghana off the map. The vibrations of the punches were so powerful that they caused earthquakes in neighboring countries. The president of Ghana barely survived each punch, as the air force from each strike was enough to send rivers into the atmosphere.

Lilith and Inkosi were thrown into the sky by the force of the punches. Inkosi barely managed to save Lilith by using vines from the ground through UNION. Alfred prepared his final strike, a special punch, "TIME BREAKER," which utilized the entire force of his body. As the ground below gave way, the water rose, leading to tsunamis. The air crackled as Alfred's final punch landed. Lilith had fallen unconscious, Inkosi's right arm was twisted, and the bodies of Akan and the president were disintegrated by the punch.

The force of the punch caused a storm that lasted for forty straight hours before settling down. Alfred lay half-dead on the floor, boneless with only his organs functioning. Lilith, Inkosi, and Alfred had successfully taken over Ghana, but at an unimaginable cost.

"OH YEAH, GHANA DOESN'T EXIST ANYMORE," Alfred muttered, his voice weak.

As the storm finally subsided, the desolation was complete. Ghana was no more, a testament to the destructive power of one man's wrath and determination. The trio's victory was hollow, their bodies broken and spirits weary. The path ahead was uncertain, but they had survived the battle against light and time, if only just barely.
