"Can I get a book from the library A...rrtthh..?" I stuttered not even able to hear myself. He didn't look up or even moved. He was still seriously focused on his laptop. I sighed in defeat, I was too scared to mention his name, even though he had told me to call him that whenever we were alone. It has really not been easy for me, the fact that he's the king and I am still trying to wrap my head around what we are doing. Reluctantly I leaned back on the couch, till I heard his voice.
"You can, but I will punish you for disobeying me." His eyes were now staring deep into mine. Honestly, if not that he is the king, I would have ran to him, smashing my lips on his. He looked very captivating on that seat with his intimidating aura all over the place.
"What do you mean, why would you punish me?" I asked, trying hard not to stutter but immediately, the reason behind the punishment hits me.
