Our main character, Kazuki, came from a wealthy family and enjoyed playing games daily. However, he felt like something was missing from his life. His curiosity was piqued when he saw a glimpse of a place from a game called "Synaptic Nexus," a vast kingdom named Veridora, where everything felt unbelievably real. He decided to purchase the game.
The delivery arrived in just ten minutes, and he eagerly opened the package, finding the game and instructions inside. After quickly adjusting his VR equipment, he launched the game. A small fairy-like creature appeared, greeting him as "master" and asking for his name. Kazuki chose the name "Arc" and selected the appearance of a fit young man with black hair. The game began with a cutscene, featuring two entities larger than the universe itself playing chess. They proposed a bet, promising a mysterious reward.
The cutscene ended, revealing a towering structure touching the sky. As Arc started to enter the tower, an old man warned him not to proceed without the proper equipment. Arc asked the old man for his name, and the old man replied, "My name is ________." Arc didn't understand and asked him to repeat. The old man patiently said, "________." Arc remained puzzled, but the old man assured him he would soon understand. He then gestured toward a massive wall and disappeared.
Arc proceeded toward the enormous walls, where he joined a queue of people. He overheard them talking about the Veridora Kingdom and a mystical tree named the Eldertree, which bestowed special classes like warrior, archer, healer, and summoner upon people. Finally entering the walls, he encountered the colossal tree, which seemed oddly familiar. People were trading items like apples and beards.
Arc noticed that everyone had assigned jobs. As he explored the city, he saw people celebrating the classes they had obtained. Eventually, he approached the massive tree, where a crowd had gathered. An elder elf stood before them, explaining that they were there to receive the Eldertree's seed, which granted special classes.
When it was Arc's turn, the elder elf instructed him to stand on a circle near the Eldertree. The elder elf cast a spell, and after a moment, a round object fell from the tree.
Arc caught the round object, which glowed with an ethereal light. As he held it, he felt a surge of energy and a flood of memories rushed through his mind. Suddenly, he understood the old man's name - "Eonas," the name of the old man who had disappeared earlier.
The elder elf explained that the object Arc held was the Eldertree's seed, and by receiving it, he had been chosen for a unique class that no one had ever seen before.
