"Mommy, are you okay now?" Rina looked at her son, Venedict, who seemed concerned about her current state.
She nodded and forced a smile in response.
"Mommy, are you not going to the office today? Would you prefer to stay here with us, including Granddaddy and Uncle,..here at Grandmommy and my twin sister's grave?" Her curious son inquired, leaving her uncertain about how to respond, especially after her emotional breakdown at her daughter's gravesite.
"Um... would you like Mommy to leave, baby?" She asked her son, wanting him to make the decision for her.
"If you're asking me, Mommy, I'd love for you to stay here for a while. But if you don't want to, I'll respect your wishes," her mature child said, showing a level of consideration that touched her heart.
She couldn't resist the urge to hold him even tighter, driven by his overwhelming cuteness.
