"What is he doing here, Mom?" Megan asked Isabella, who was lying in bed while Reniel sat beside her.
She hadn't expected to see Reniel in the room.
"He's h-here to visit me. W-why, is it wrong for my son to visit me?" Isabella said in a weak voice before looking at her eldest son, Reniel.
"N-no. I just didn't expect to see him here..."
"You don't have to w-worry about him being here... I know you're angry about what Daniel did, but you should know Reniel had no idea or involvement in his son's actions..."
"H-he has already asked for everyone's forgiveness, and it's clear he wasn't involved in what his son did," Isabella said.
Megan looked at Reniel, who couldn't meet her gaze.
