"W-what am I g-going to do with this?" Rina couldn't help but ask as Victor handed her the bouquet of red roses.
"T-these are for you.."
Victor stammered, realizing he hadn't given her the flowers in a romantic manner, and offered them rather abruptly. His ears slowly turned red with embarrassment as he averted his gaze, feeling self-conscious about his sudden and awkward gesture.
Rina found herself at a loss for words, unsure of how to react in the awkward situation. Then, her attention shifted to David, who wore a scowl directed at Victor.
However, as soon as David caught her eye, his expression softened into a quick smile before he gracefully entered the room.
Before going in, he respectfully smiled at the Reymundo family as a sign of respect, then gently handed the bouquet of flowers to Rina.
