Vainglory stepped cautiously into the room. She found herself standing in the heart of Greed's secret hideout, unsure of what to expect.
("No, I definitely knew what to expect" Zephyrus smirked seeing as Greed was fooled by her)
As her eyes adjusted to the darkness, Vainglory noticed the silhouette of a figure sitting at a large wooden table. Greed waited patiently for her arrival.
"Why did you call me here, Greed?" Vainglory's voice rang out as she approached the table.
Greed leaned back in his chair, observing her with calculating eyes. His voice was smooth, laced with a hint of admiration. "Ah, Vainglory, the weakest executive amongst us. But I see something in you, something others do not. Ambition. Desire. The hunger to rise above your current status and claim a power that befits your true potential."
Vainglory raised an eyebrow, intrigued by his words. No one had ever seen beyond her seemingly meek exterior, or considered her capable of anything beyond her role as the executive of Envy. Greed ignited a spark of longing deep within her soul.

"You have piqued my interest, Greed," Vainglory admitted, her voice laced with curiosity. "But tell me, what do you propose?"
Greed leaned forward, his eyes gleaming with a mixture of ambition and cunning. "I trust you, Vainglory. We share the same drive, the same determination. You, one of the only fellow humans amongst the executives, have proven yourself against incredible odds. Together, we can achieve greatness."
He paused for a moment, letting his words sink in before continuing. "I want to see the might of humanity restored, to eradicate those who suppress us. Pride, that arrogant embodiment of superiority, must fall. And with your help, we can ensure the dominance of our kind, showing the rest of the world what true power really is."
Greed knew that the allure of power and vindication surged within Vainglory's veins, tempting her to embrace this partnership. It was an opportunity to elevate not only herself but also humanity from the shadows of other races so Greed knew that she would say yes.
After a moment of silence, Vainglory nodded, a determined glint in her eyes. "I accept your partnership, Greed. Let us bring down Pride, not just for personal gain but to pave the way for the rise of humanity. Together, we shall create a world where our species shall flourish, unchallenged by those who would deem us weaker."
