Ming Xia almost screamed when she saw the figure of a student standing by the side of the rooftop. Ming Xia looked away after recovering from the shock. She did not expect anyone to be on the rooftop.
Ming Xia walked to the wall and rested her elbows on the wall to study the school premises. Class had not started and on a Monday morning, Mr Alexander was the one to have the first class with them.
Ming Xia hated the class because everything the man taught was already known to her. The man's voice did nothing but annoy her and that was why Ming Xia usually acted as if she wasn't listening.
"You look different today," the student whom Ming Xia had ignored came to stay close to her. His voice shocked her, causing Ming Xia to frown at him.
Her face told him she wasn't inviting his company. The boy was Zhao Edward. He was Ming Xia's crush before her best friend betrayed her.
