Anna waited in that spot until she couldn't see the car George entered. "I guess he's in a hurry," Anna said to Niko who was sitting on the grass.
Anna left the side of the door and went back to her room to get her phone. It was lonely all of a sudden and it felt as if George had been gone for over two hours.
Anna sat on the bed and turned her phone on only to see multiple messages from George. Anna sometimes wondered how George could tell her thoughts even though she was denying her thoughts to herself.
"Are you missing me?" Anna read the first text message and went to the other.
"I just spoke to Richard about getting a house. It wouldn't even take a day to get it but I won't be around for five days or so…"
Anna grimaced when she read this part.
