Wei Yan was just about to let out a sigh due to the feeling lying laboriously in her heart. This caused an effect on her breathing state and she just wanted to take a deep breath in and exhale heavily but Wei Yan was stopped by her Madam's presence.
Wei Yan cautioned herself. It would be disrespectful to sigh loudly and it would also alarm Madam that something was definitely bothering her, hence Wei Yan had to be careful of the emotions she reveal
Wei Yan had been moving the chair for over fifteen minutes while Anna seemed to be enjoying the moment.
However, Anna suddenly became weak. She felt as if she was going to collapse as everywhere began to spin in her head.
But before Anna could instruct Wei Yan to take her back into the house, George appeared from nowhere.
Anna's attention was taken by his appearance and while watching him march forward to the spot she settled in, Anna sighted the doctor following George from behind.
Strange!
Anna surprisingly felt happy to see the doctor and the only possible reason for this was because she couldn't wait to recover and get her legs and every other part of her that was disabled back.
Anna was impatient. She had delayed her enemy's punishment for four years and now that she was back with a new personality and abilities, she was tied down by her disabilities and according to the doctor, it seemed like it was going to take months for her to recover fully.
Anna turned to Wei Yan, "What's today's date?"
Wei Yan answered. "22nd of August."
Anna nodded her head. How come the date in the book happened to be the same in her past life?
'Does it mean that in the book, the original Anna didn't get the justice she deserved?'
'If only I had read enough in that book, I would have known more about Anna'
'But I don't understand how a book can end in such a manner. Why wasn't justice served?'
'Could there be a part two or the…'
'Wait, the only reason a book does not get completed is either the author dropped the book or died'
'Could this be the reason why the book has the same date as it was in my past life?'
'This means that the book was really a love story between Anna and Wang Lixin but a twist suddenly took place and Anna died. Part two should begin now but the author didn't write the story'
'This means, the story is in my hands. It isn't the end yet and I can make things right. It is my duty and my life now'
Anna snapped out of her thoughts and looked up at George who was now standing right in front of her.
"How do you feel?"
'The original Anna doesn't like this man and I guess the attachment between us is the reason why I find him irritating. I have to change the way I feel towards this man so that things can be put in their rightful places. I can do it'
"I was loving it, honestly but I suddenly felt dizzy," Anna replied.
"Don't worry, the doctor is here to check up on you," George flashed a convincing smile before turning to the doctor.
The next moment, Anna was lying on the bed, watching the doctor perform some medical procedures on her. Her eyes were sleepily on Doctor Zhao but soon Anna couldn't stay awake anymore.
Despite hating how weak she was, Anna just couldn't fight it. She would always surrender and now, she was already sleeping.
George stood somewhere in the room, waiting for Doctor Zhao to wrap up.
Eventually, Doctor Zhao finished up and informed George that Anna was asleep.
"It is normal because she's still recovering," Doctor Zhao said before George could ask. "She'd sleep more often but that doesn't mean there's a problem," he added.
"I'll conduct the test and the result might take time so please be patient," Doctor Zhao explained.
"Is it possible that Anna might have some health issues?" George asked. "She's healthy," he said.
"Well, she has been in a coma for a very long time and this state can cause some health issues, that's why we have to be sure," answered Doctor Zhao.
"We've noticed her disabilities, fatigue but there's a big possibility that she might have a urinary tract infection or perhaps diabetes. Therefore, the results of the tests will serve as the final say to whatever issues she has and might not."
George rocked his head and licked his lower lip. "It is not that serious, right?"
"No, I believe she wouldn't need any surgery. Everything has been taken care of four years back."
George nodded thoughtfully before looking at Anna who was sound asleep.
"Thank you, doc," George drifted his gaze back to Doctor Zhao. With that, he motioned for Doctor Zhao to follow him out of the room.
Wei Yan, who was standing outside the room, was signaled to stay with Anna. It was Master George's order and she replied with a nod before walking into the room.
Wei Yan saw that her Madam was asleep so she sat on the couch by the wall, watching her Madam.
'Madam seems to be a very nice person' Wei Yan thought.
But the promotion she received was still bothering her. How was Wei Yan going to face her colleagues now?
What if they try to kill her?
'Should I just tell Madam about it?'
'Should I report to Master George?'
'What if they think that I'm lying or what if the tables turn, what am I going to do?'
Wei Yan let out a sigh this time, letting herself know that she would be able to get past everything.
All these were just life challenges and Wei Yan believed that she would definitely overcome it all.
Madam Anna needed Wei Yan just as her family did and Wei Yan was ready to perform her duties.
Wei Yan stood up and walked close to Madam Anna before sitting on the stool. "Don't worry, Madam, you'll be able to do everything you want soon because I'm going to help you."
