Huang Shengyi completely ignored Kai Syaoran's question as she moved past him without sparing him another glance. Kai Syaoran looked at Huang Xiaoming who just smiled as though he had seen nothing. "I am willing to exchange whatever you want for the cardinal luck herb; you will have to deal with my daughters. Even though I am their father, I have no right to take away what is theirs."
The two men looked in to each other's eyes. The pressure they released did not change the heavens or reverse yin and yang but it felt as though a single move from either of them could wipe out the human realm.
Kai Syaoran felt the man's determination and understood that nothing he said would get this man to compromise in this matter. Since this was the case, the only option Kai Syaoran had was to do as he had been told. He regained his calm and suppressed his aura. Huang Xiaoming did the same but Kai Syaoran could see that he was far from being calm.
