A bond would be created between the two people and it was said that in all of creation, the mating bond was one of the very few things that could be called eternal. The bond was not fully understood but it was said to form only between two kindred souls. Even if the two people hated each other, it might turn out that they are fated mates. This mating bond did not only exist among the forever devils but many powerful races whose blood lines could be called powerful.
Kai Syaoran never believed in this mating bond nonsense even though his parents who always seemed to be at loggerheads were actually mated. Kai Syaoran did not believe in mating and he hoped that he was wrong. He tried seeing into the future to see how the meeting with the sky wolves would go but all he saw was an endless sky. It was clear that this was the doing of the sky wolves. They had come prepared and they had even taken measures against the time powers of the forever devils.
