Back to the present, or the past depending on how one looked at the flow of time, Kai Syaoran remained in secluded cultivation and organized his mind and decided on what to do next. After leaving seclusion, a few days later, he met with his parents and gave them some bullshit explanation about how he managed to create the black death and the continuum beast.
To get them to focus on other things, Kai Syaoran gave them the technique that could be used by earth forever devil to create their own continuum beast. After giving them the technique, he encouraged them to share it with each other and every forever devil. Making the forever devils more powerful worked in his favor since their protection was the only reason the other races had yet to descend on him like vultures.
