In the lobby, the Thunder Emperor pretended as though nothing had happened. Even when the other disciples spoke out loud about what happened the previous night, he just ignored them.
As they were preparing to head out for the tournament, another group of people came to the lobby. They all wore red robes that gave them a feeling of power and life.
These were disciples from another sect on the Heaven Expanse, the False God Temple. This faction was powerful enough that even the Heaven Dao sect did not dare look down on them.
The two factions were not on the best of terms but the False God Temple made sure not to antagonize the Heaven Dao sect since this would be no different from poking a sleeping bear. Even though they were almost as powerful as the Heaven Dao sect, this was still just almost. There was still a deference of heaven and earth between their power.
