As the Thunder Emperor was busy dealing with the issues in the Three Suns Star System, Kai Syaoran was still deep underground on the Heaven Expanse. He had first taken some time to observe the assassin's soul core and when he was done with this, he casually grabbed the assassin and threw him into the Great Dark. Kai Syaoran had seen how the Great Dark had affected the ice worms, turning them into killing machines whose power was enough to threaten the world. Kai Syaoran was sure that if the Ice Worms continued to evolve at their current pace, they would reach a level where even he would have to be careful in his dealings with them.
He threw the assassin into the Great Dark as his punishment for what he had done to Zhao Lusi and her mother. He did not know how the Great Dark would affect a human but he was sure that the pain and suffering within would be enough for the assassin to regret ever being born.
