The Fire Sage felt the Thunder Emperor's invasive gaze.
Through all the flames he had released, the Thunder Emperor had remained as cool as a cucumber. The Fire Sage had already let his rage take over and he was not too happy to see that the Thunder Emperor was looking down on him.
This feeling intensified his rage. His fire burned brighter and hotter than ever but even this was not enough to faze the Thunder Emperor. In fact, the flames did not even get within an inch of the emperor who continued to observe the Fire Sage as though he was some new and weird creature that had to be studied with all his focus.
The Fire Sage's struggles became even more violent with each passing second and his power reached levels that made all the people watching the fight feel as though they would be killed instated they were the ones fighting the Fire Sage.
The fact that the Thunder Emperor barely spared a thought for such a powerful foe shocked everyone.
