The Dao Heart was something that many even considered to be a concept instead of something tangible and this is because they did not have control over their Soul Core. Kai Syaoran, who was somehow born with just a soul core with the rest of his soul missing had complete control over the core. It turned out that the Dao Heart resided inside the Soul Core.
This was how he had been able to use it in the creation of his Ego.
Right now, his Ego was constantly growing in power and Kai Syaoran now believed that this growth was what had fixed the flaws in his Dao Heart which was now his Ego.
He also believed that as long as it continued to grow, he could even achieve the legendary True Dao Heart.
