Back in the valley, Kai Syaoran ordered for a meeting of all the valley lords.
Everyone had been extremely busy integrating the new territory when Kai Syaoran called the meeting but they all showed up in less than ten minutes. They had all learned about Kai Syaoran's impatient nature. Delays of any kind were not tolerated by the Mad Wolf.
Inside the Wolf Pavilion, Kai Syaoran sat on his throne and looked down at the fourteen valley lords in silence. He was still considering his options. They were constrained but he had to choose his next action.
"How are our guests in the dungeons?" he asked. His voice was very composed giving away nothing about his worries.
The only person who could see through him was the Cloud Mistress. With her sensitivity to changes in her surroundings, this did not come as a surprise to Kai Syaoran who saw the way she was looking at him.
