Days went by and the demonic beasts were nowhere to be seen. After a whole week of peace, people began trusting Kai Syaoran's words. He had declared that he would be returning to continue the fight in five years. No one knew that Kai Syaoran was simply using the Misty Sea sect to train the demonic beasts and kill off the weak.
In the Endless Forest, Kai Syaoran was very busy with the demonic beasts. The first thing he did was prepare some healing medicines for the wolves and when everyone was back in peak form, the dead wolves were given a proper burial.
The demonic wolves had long been sending the bodies of their dead into the White Fang mountain. This was the first time Kai Syaoran had witnessed the burial ritual and he was intrigued. The body was laid on the mountain and the wolves would then stand there with their eyes closed. When they opened their eyes, the body would have disappeared. It was a ritual started by the first White alpha.
