The army was of course led by Commander Lin who came with his Yulong Blood army as the vanguard.
He had set up his base outside the Freelands next to one of the black towers built by the dynasty.
From here, he waved war against the dynasty.
He used powerful weapons of war to send powerful attacks against the tower but the thing did not suffer even a single scratch.
The dynasty did not send out its army to face the empire in direct combat. Inside the tower, soldiers could be seen moving about. Less than ten soldiers were manning the tower.
