As this was happening on this small boat in the middle of the Sea Of Beasts, war was brewing on the Northern Desolate continent. The Huang Dynasty had declared war on the Freelands. Years ago, the Huang Dynasty had entered this chaotic land where the rule of law was a suggestion and corruption was the norm. It did not make any big moves. Instead, the dynasty took over a few small villages at the edge of the Freelands. Where they found resistance from local rulers such as kings and queens, the dynasty did not use its overwhelming power to wipe them out. Instead, they paid off these rulers and in doing so, acquired entire villages. The rulers also found no issue with selling off these small villages since they did not contribute much to their domains.
