From lowest to highest these levels were Early Ascendant, Mid Ascendant, Late Ascendant and Peak Ascendant. To make matters worse, there was another group of people called Imperfect Emperors. These so-called Imperfect Emperors were truly the limit of power one could reach without becoming an emperor. These Imperfect Emperors were the true rulers of the world after the emperors inevitably ascended.
