Kai Syaoran saw this fear and understood that he had achieved his goal The only reason he was wasting so much time explaining everything was so that he can put the fear of the forever devils into the hearts of the other races. Now that he had seen this fear in the heart of a god, the other races had to be terrified.
This fear would not be enough to stop the forever war in which all the forever devils would be wiped out but it would buy Kai Syaoran some much needed time so that he can come up with a way to survive this horror.
