Chapter 10 - Public reaction (1)

Dylan began the episode with a hint of excitement and with slight expectations, looking forward to the entertainment it would bring to him. However, as the episode unfolded, his anticipation quickly transformed into disappointment and his mind was slowly being covered by boredom.

The first episode failed to captivate him, and he couldn't find anything truly exciting throughout the entire episode.

Once the episode concluded, Dylan found himself at a loss and didn't know what to do next. He aimlessly scrolled through the YouTube page after the video ended, hoping to stumble upon something more engaging.

In an attempt to alleviate his growing sense of boredom, he absentmindedly reached for a bag of chips which he had kept on his desk and started munching on them one by one. It was clear that Dylan's lackluster reaction to the first episode was not because it was not to his liking but rather representating his character as a person who didn't like thinks seldomly.

Contrasting to Dylan reaction, the reactions of other individuals varied significantly upon viewing the first episode. Other people who were watching had varied reactions but almost all of them were almost the same.

Taran was sleeping when the first episode aired he had only woken up it was halfway through. As the first episode was near its ending, he saw the notification he had received in his smartphone about the upcoming live premiere of the first episode.

After catching sight of the notification, it suddenly dawned on Taran that today marked the anticipated premiere day. Taran laid back on his bed and started to watch the live premiere on his smartphone which was on its ending, when the episode started the forest scene captivated him, Taran was thoroughly impressed by the CGI of the scene in the first episode.

While engrossed in the first episode, his attention wavered from the character interactions, instead he was captivated by the beauty of the scenes., after finishing the first episode unlike Dylan he wanted to continue watching. However, to his dismay, he had no other episode to watch.

On the other hand, Danish who was in his studio and all his attention was focused on the first episode of the web series to find its different aspects, particularly on the story line. From the moment he caught sight of Aska and his father's characters, he held certain expectations. However, as the episode progressed, he realized that there was a lack of connection to the main story but it was focused on character buildup, and why did he reach that conclusion, because he thought the web series would delve into a war of some sort based on his interpretation of the scene presented in the trailer but he was also not sure that war will be the main part of the story. He drew this inference from the trailer, which hinted at the presence of a conflict or war from the scene where a city was surrounded by large army and all the people inside where dead and city was burning creating a scene of devastation and despair.

Danish also had slightly suspicion the two characters shown in the trailer were Aska and his father. Danish wasn't entirely sure, as the young boy in the trailer appeared to be around 14 to 15 years old, whereas Aska, who bore a striking resemblance to the boy, seemed younger than the boy in the trailer in the first episode. Speculating further, Danish concluded that the man accompanying the boy in the trailer was likely Aska's father, assuming the boy was indeed Aska. However, Danish's understanding of the story's direction took a turn when he witnessed the ending scene of the first episode, which provided him with a glimpse into the narrative's trajectory.

Seeing all the dead bodies all over big ruins he remembers a scene from the trailer where a huge army was surrounding a destroyed city and inside the city dead bodies were everywhere Danish had a slight fascination after remembering the scene and he was relating that scene with the ruin filled with dead body shown at the end of the epsiode, thinking that it may be the same place so he checked the trailer and played the trailer from that part.

Danish checked if there were any similarities between the two scenes by comparing them side by side for a period of time. Although he didn't discover any scenes or locations that matched, after some time, he became convinced that it was indeed the same place.

His certainty stemmed from the strikingly similar clothing worn by the dead body lying on the ground in both scenes, as well as the architectural style of the building and ruin of the building where similar. These factors led him to confidently conclude that the two scenes depicted the same location. However, Danish remained cautious, acknowledging the possibility that they could be different places.

Adding to his consideration was his prior realization that the world portrayed in the first episode people use some kind of energy called chakra similar to like magic used in different movies and series, with help of it they can possess magic ability. Danish didn't consider the depth of chakra for now since not much was shown for now, after re-watching the first episode multiple times, he failed to unearth any substantially more significant details.

After confirming that he could not find any more details Danish started recording a video for his channel on the first episode.

Just like Danish and Taran when people watch the first episode they were attracted to CGI and cinematography of the forest which was always liked by the people who where watching.

Dylan continued to scroll through the YouTube page, exploring various videos, but his expression remained constant. The grip of drowsiness began to envelop him, yet he resisted sleep, opting instead to launch an RPG game. He delved into the game for quite a while, yet his mood remained unaltered. Overwhelmed by mounting boredom, he eventually closed the game, preparing to sleep. Just as he was about to sleep, his phone suddenly rang. Without bothering to check the caller ID, Dylan answered, and from the other end, the enthusiastic voice of Taran sound in his ear.

"Dylan did you like the first episode?"

"First episode?" Dylan repeated confusingly.

Sleepness was covering his mind and he didn't concentrate on the Taran questioned.

On the other side of the phone when Taran heared Dylan drowsy voice he told about the first episode which was premiered today

"Yes I had watched the first episode, it was boring."

"Boring!" Hearing Dylan reply Taran could help himself but sigh, he was Dylan friend for very long time and he knew Dylan character and liking.

"Just boring, comn man hearing your reply my mood plummeted like always you didn't like anything."

Hearing Taran naging and slight complaining voice Dylan while half closed eye said.

"I will watch two or three episodes more if it is still boring i would stop watching it."

"Ha! Ok."

"Now I going to sleep I am tired."

Having spoken those words, Dylan ended the call and proceeded to sleep.

When Dylan hung up the call Taran could not help himself but sigh because how picky Dylan is.
