"What's wrong with you?" Arthur asked Candice when she entered the office dispirited.
"Nothing," Candice simply replies.
He raises an eyebrow at her not believing her. "It's nothing," she said more firmly this time when Arthur's gaze didn't leave her.
"I didn't say anything," Arthur said defensively.
"Then stop looking at me!" she said snapping at him.
He raises his hand in surrender. "Alright, alright, no need to eat me up."
She took out her laptop and began working on her day's work.
Lunch break...
Candice has been working absentmindedly throughout the day and this made Lily confused because she is usually focused on whatever task she's given.
"What's wrong with her?" she asked Arthur.
"I don't know," Arthur replies, he then remembers something. "Candice," he called her.
"Mhm?" she replied absentmindedly.
"Did you tell Milky of the role you got her?" he asked.
