Arthur thought of Ezra's words. He would indeed do that, but he would try to find a different solution first.
"Then what do you suggest I do?" Arthur asked.
Ezra thought for a while. "Have you spoken to Jared about this?" he asked.
"Most of it," Arthur said.
"Then speak to him about the rest," Ezra said. "Maybe he can give you advice to beat him. If you can't beat him though, then give him what he wants," he said.
When he sees Arthur's reluctance, he touches his cheek. "I know you are reluctant to give away your father's company, but isn't it better to be safe than sorry?"6l22
"I guess so," Arthur said. Ezra smiles and pecks his lips. Arthur hugs him tightly. "I love you," he said.
"I love you, too," Ezra said.
"Ezra called me yesterday," Candice said when she saw Arthur in the office the next day.
Arthur raised an eyebrow at her. "So what did you do to him? He sounded sad," she questioned with her hands on her waist.
