Arthur returned home quite late with a headache. It's been so long since he's done this. He's nearly forgotten the feeling of working that hard.
He was greeted by Ezra who was waiting for him in the living room. "Arthur," Ezra said standing up to hug him when Arthur got to him, he rested his entire weight on him causing Ezra to stumble backward and fall on the couch.
"Ow," Ezra said in pain.
"Sorry." It sounded muffled but Arthur didn't stop hugging Ezra.
Ezra sighed helplessly. He raises and gently strokes Arthur's head. "I'm guessing your day didn't go very well," he said.
Arthur groaned in dismay. "I see," Ezra said softly. "How about you go and eat your dinner while I prepare you a bath," he suggested.
