Chapter 126 - Chapter 124.

Qin Ming nodded. But the strength exhibited by the one they called Captain Monster was someone he was really curious about as he was undeniably extraordinary. He wondered if this individual might also be a new teacher from Shrek Academy.

Flender then gestured towards Grandmaster, saying, "You should know him, GrandmasterYu Xiaogang, my sworn brother. Currently, he is also a teacher at Shrek Academy and instructs these seven young talents."

Upon hearing this, Qin Ming was visibly surprised, a realization dawning on him. Respectfully addressing Grndmaster, he said, "So, you are the famous Grandmaster, I've heard about you a lot. The Shrek Seven Devils possess such formidable strength and strategic co-ordination. I presume you're the one guiding them?"

Grandmaster, renowned for his theoretical knowledge, was taken aback, "Yes."

Qin Ming replied with admiration. "Tianheng informed me that the match between your Shrek team and the Mad Battle team was an exquisite display. If there wasn't a tactical master guiding these seven youngsters, achieving such seamless cooperation, a variety of soul ability combinations and intricate strategies for countering their opponents moves would be nigh impossible."

"Just now, when the Thousand-Handed Shura used Blue Silver Grass to redirect the Jade Phosphorous Violet Poison back to the Emperor team, it was an extraordinary display of martial soul and soul ability. Without that move, the Emperor team would have had atleast two more members standing on the battlefield." Qin Ming remarked, expressing his admiration.

However, at this point, the members of Shrek Seven Devils were surprised after hearing this. Flender and Zhao Wuji also exchanged peculiar glances while looking at Qin Ming.

"What's the matter? Did I say something inappropriate?" Qin Ming inquired, perplexed.

"Yes." Grandmaster responded, shaking his head as he continued with a smile. "There's a misunderstanding. I am not the master tactician behind them."

"Then, who is this master tactician?" Qin Ming asked, stunned.

"It's me." Wang Feng intervened, sensing that Qin Ming was getting confused and stepped forward with a smile.

"..." Qin Ming.

Qin Ming stared at Wang Feng in bewilderment.

Drawing from experience, a master tactician would typically be mature, seasoned person, possessing in-depth knowledge of martial soul and soul abilities—likely a middle-aged individual over thirty-forty. Grandmaster perfectly fits this description.

However, the Captain Monster contradicted this expectation. Young and possibly not even in his twenties, how could he be the master tactician behind the Shrek Seven Devils? It seemed somewhat inconceivable.

"It's him." Flender boomed with laughter.

"It's this kid. Those ingenious ideas of the Shrek Seven Devils, either he devised them or pounded them in their brain."

"Flender is correct. While I am their teacher, responsible for training and imparting various knowledge, when it comes to real combat experience, tactics and the application of soul skills, the majority of ideas come from him." Grandmaster explained casually.

Qin Ming's looked astonished to say the least.

"Surprisingly, after all these years, Shrek would have such an extraordinary person," Qin Ming sighed. "I don't even know what kind of soul master your Captain Monster is. I just fought with him and I couldn't grasp it at all."

The opponent had not even unleashed his soul power, as he had already depleted his soul power before. Yet, he was defeated solely by the physical strength of him. The sudden transformation at the last moment was astonishing, resembling an entirely different person. There was also no apparent use of any use of soul abilities, yet the sudden surge in power was inexplicable.

"Hey, brother Feng is an auxiliary system soul master." Xiao Wu chimed in with a smile. "His strength lies in his support abilities. He's the strongest in that aspect."

"..." Qin Ming hearing this looked at her as if she was an alien.

Wang Feng shot a playful glare at Xiao Wu and suggested, "Let's not linger at ths topic. We can walk around, recalculate the points, and collect the winnings while we're at it."

With that, Wang Feng led the group out of the room.

"His strength... is he really an auxiliary system soul master?" Qin Ming murmured, observing Wang Feng's departure.

"In theory... yes." Grandmaster affirmed, shaking his head. "That Wang Feng's support ability is indeed exceptionally potent. You can see it from the match with Rongrong's and his martial soul fusion technique."

Qin Ming sighed softly and redirected the conversation to other topics.

The eight individuals returned to the main area to calculate their points. All seven had reached the level of Silver Fighting Soul badge, and their team had had even reached the level of Golden Fighting Soul badge. This news left the Shrek Seven in disbelief.

Golden Fighting Soul badge.

"Reaching the Golden Fighting Soul badge at just rank thirty soul power..."

After handing out black cards to everyone, Director Ao of the Great Fighting Soul Arena couldn't help but sigh, "In all my years at the Suotuo Great Fighting Soul Arena, this is the first time I've seen a team at just rank 30 reach the Golden Fighting Soul badge and remain undefeated. It's nothing short of a miracle! Rest assured, throughout the entire Heaven Dou Empire, there's likely no other 30-level Golden Fighting Soul team. You are the strongest at your level."

Laughter echoed among the group.

Wang Feng gazed at the assembled individuals, contemplating, "I wonder if the teams I'll face in the future will become even stronger just as what happened with Heaven Dou Imperial Academy's team."

Later that night, at the hotel where the Emperor team was staying, Yu Tianheng and his companions were about to return when a figure blocked their path.

"Uncle, is it really you?" Yu Tianheng exclaimed, surprised and happy.

The others were also taken aback.

"Tianheng, it's been a long time. Let's talk privately." Grandmaster suggested, looking at Yu Tianheng.

Yu Tianheng instructed the six others to return to the hotel first and then followed Grandmaster onto the street.

"Uncle, why are you here?" Yu Tianheng gazed at the master with mixed emotions. He had always missed his uncle, especially the close bond they shared during his childhood, before he was expelled from the family.

"Tianheng, you've grown up." Grandmaster commented, looking up at the night sky. "You played exceptionally well in today's game. You're also very astute. It seems like you're doing well."

Yu Tianheng, momentarily surprised, responded with a slightly stunned tone, "Uncle, Grandpa and Dad have always thought about you. They hope you can come back..."

Grandmaster shook his head and explained, "It's impossible for those expelled to return to the family unless the patriarch agrees. That's an unlikely scenario and I've grown accustomed to living outside of the clan. Going back now would mean leading a humble life."

Yu Tianheng fell into silence but persisted, "Uncle, did you watch today's game? Unfortunately, I still lost... bringing a shame to the clan."

Turning around, Grandmaster placed a reassuring pat on Yu Tianheng's shoulder, a rare smile appearing on his usually stern face. "You played remarkably well today. Every move you made was flawless in my eyes. You haven't brought shame to the family or the clan. You've grown wiser, more cautious, and powerful..."

"The Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon, known as the number one beast martial soul on the mainland, still has a fatal flaw within the family."

"I haven't seen this fatal flaw in you."

Yu Tianheng was taken aback, questioning, "What flaw?"

"Arrogance." Grandmaster stated casually. "You set aside your arrogance and gave your best against a team that seemed inferior to yours."

Yu Tianheng felt a profound impact upon hearing his uncle approval of him.

"Uncle, it's actually a coincidence that I encountered in the Suotuo Arena that day... and today's opponents... they made me set aside the family's pride and arrogance." Yu Tianheng expressed with emotion.

"Because one of them crushed my pride with a single punch."

"In the future, I'll be even more cautious!"

Grandmaster smiled hearing this as he patted Yu Tianheng shoulder.

At the same time, after recalculating the points, Wang Feng and his group headed to a hotel to celebrate. It didn't take long before Flender and Zhao Wuji, along with Qin Ming, joined them at the hotel to celebrate their win.

"Dean, these kids are exceptionally talented... I'd like to recruit them on behalf of the Heaven Dou Imperial Academy," Qin Ming declared, looking at the eight individuals. "Junior brothers and sisters, today this senior is treating you. Please enjoy the meal and eat as much as you want!"

This statement did not go unnoticed, and Tang San exchanged glances with the others. After all, Qin Ming was from the Heaven Dou Imperial Academy.

"Just dig in, it's a gesture from your seniors. Don't tell me you're wary of being lured away by a meal?" Flender casually remarked, eyeing the group teasingly.

Qin Ming was momentarily surprised but quickly caught on, chuckling, "The dean is absolutely right..."

Wang Feng flashed a grin as he confidently placed the order, passing it to the waiter nearby. Unbeknownst to many, Wang Feng was well aware that the arrival of Grandmaster hinted at a desire for them to enroll in the Heaven Dou Imperial Academy under the banner of the Shrek Seven Devils.

Fueled by optimism, Wang Feng brushed off the concerns. "What's there to fear? Perhaps Grandmaster also genuinely wishes for us to become part of the Heaven Dou Imperial Academy." He raised a wine filled glass, taking a sip with a smile.

Flender's expression shifted abruptly. At that moment, Grandmaster approached from a distance, having just concluded a conversation with Yu Tianheng.

"Xiao Feng is correct. Let's enroll them to the Heaven Dou Imperial Academy," Grandmaster stated calmly.

Flender stood up promptly, his countenance somewhat rigid. "Xiaogang, I don't appreciate your words. Even if this youngster is the last batch we can train, they are still students of Shrek Academy! Do you doubt our ability to educate and train them properly?"

Grandmaster casted a glance at him, responding deliberately, "We can provide excellent education but unfortunately there are certain aspects that we cannot help them in or provide some exclusive resource to them."

"What aspects are you referring to?" Zhao Wuji inquired, rising to his feet.

Qin Ming, standing on the side, appeared to grasp the situation. He cast a glance at the Shrek Seven Devils and couldn't help but sigh inwardly. Having graduated from a conventional academy, he was well aware of the faculty's competence, but the drawbacks were undeniable.

For starters, Shrek Academy lacked formal registration with the Empire, and the situation didn't seem likely to change. Secondly, the training environment left much to be desired. Wang Feng knew this.

In plain terms, Shrek Academy's strength lay mainly in its formidable teacher and in its combat faculty. However, for a school to foster student growth, it required more than just that—research institutions, knowledge repositories, various libraries and so forth.

Crucially, an official identity was paramount. Only with such standing could they participate in the Continental Advanced Soul Master Academy Tournament.

The tournament's qualifications were reserved for institutions registered with the Empire. Shrek Academy was essentially a private institution and fell short, akin to a good university but without any official recognition.

"Xiaofeng, it seems you're also aware of this. Would you enlighten them?" Grandmaster inquired, observing Wang Feng enjoying his meal nearby.

Flender's gaze shifted abruptly to Wang Feng, harboring ill intentions.

Wang Feng cleared his throat before speaking, "I've been paying attention... and I believe there are two primary considerations. Firstly, the qualification for the Continental Advanced Soul Master Academy Tournament a year from now. Secondly, an enhanced training environment, including simulated surroundings for faster cultivation."

Having expressed this, Flender appeared momentarily stunned and then lapsed into silence as his shoulder slumped down. Zhao Wuji also remained silent. Across the entire continent, the significance of these tournament was immense—not to mention the accompanying rewards. For any soul master, the prospect of showcasing their prowess on the continent's biggest and grandest stage was undeniably enticing, especially for the prodigies.

The importance of a simulated training environment was underscored by Wang Feng. According to him, it was equivalent to the laboratories found in top-tier universities, offering the opportunity to explore aspects beyond the reach of just conventional education.

"But they are, after all, students of Shrek Academy, an institution I and other have diligently built over for more than two decades now." Flender retorted, fixing a somewhat angered and helpless gaze on Grandmaster.
