Chapter 95 - Chapter 94.

"Are you alright?" Wang Feng helped Tang San to his feet and inquired in a hushed tone.

"Can you control it now?"

"I think I can." Tang San replied with a nod. Wang Feng had assisted him in controlling and retracting the spider legs earlier and Tang San had grasped the concept quickly.

"That's good. I suspect that Ning Rongrong and Oscar may need your spider legs to extract the poison from their bodies," Wang Feng explained. "The poison have spread in their bodies thoroughly and you can't handle it alone with that hand technique, unlike what happened with Ma Hongjun last time."

Tang San was taken aback. He hadn't realized that his spider legs had inadvertently caused harm to his companions.

"In that case, let's go quickly. I should be able to control the spider legs now." Tang San replied.

Wang Feng nodded in agreement. The two swiftly entered the room, while Dai Mubai and Xiao Wu waited outside the door.

"Brother, how are you? Rongrong and Oscar are in a bad state..." Xiao Wu sid anxiously upon seeing Tang San's return.

"I'm fine. I'll go in first to take a look." Tang San said as he pushed the door open and entered. Wang Feng chose to remain outside.

"What was that thing behind Xiao San, anyway?" Ma Hongjun inquired with great curiosity.

The others shook their heads in confusion, all sharing the same feeling of perplexity as no one knew.

A little while later, the door opened and the group entered the room. They discovered that Ning Rongrong and Oscar had regained their normal complexion, but they still appeared somewhat weak. Their arm injuries were bandaged and their spirits were low.

"Don't fret. They're much better now." the Grandmaster informed them. "The poison have been extracted and after a few days of rest, they should be back to normal. It's just a slight setback in their training."

Hearing this, the group let out a collective sigh of relief. Ning Rongrong couldn't help but feel relieved. A few more days of rest sounded like a blessing to her even if she was now determined to train unlike before.

Oscar also wore a smile, grateful for the opportunity to take a short break. Who wouldn't appreciate a few extra days off? The injury seemed worth it now.

Wang Feng understood their feelings well. He remembered similar circumstances back when he was in school, like unexpected holidays due to typhoons or heavy rains. A few days off were always welcomed no matter what.

However, at that exact moment, a golden light emanated from the room and permeated the bodies of Ning Rongrong and Oscar.

"Master, there's no need." Wang Feng remarked, "I've already fully healed them, even removed the residual poison from their bodies. They're now in extremely good conditions and high spirits and maybe even better than before..."

He pointed at their visibly healthier complexions.

"…."Grandmaster.

".…"Tang San.

"..." Everyone else.

"..." Ning Rongrong.

"..." Oscar.

'Damn you! Wang Feng!' was the exact same thoughts running through both Ning Rongrong and Oscar minds.

The room fell silent as everyone processed this revelation. The words of explanation seemed superfluous in the midst of the stunned silence.

Wang Feng paid little attention to the lingering hateful looks from Ning Rongrong and Oscar's face. It was amusing that they expected a vacation while he was here.

'Mwahahaha!'

The Grandmaster observed the quick recovery of the two students and realized that it was most likely due to Wang Feng's Golden Lotus ability. This ability had an incredible healing and recovery effect, making it an ideal choice for a soul master.

The Grandmaster took a moment to contemplate the matter. The Human-Faced Demon Spider's poison acted as a neurotoxin, which, when left untreated, would lead to a state of extreme weakness. Even with complete toxin removal, weakness could still occur if the individual's physical fitness was not up to par.

The Grandmaster had estimated that these two students possessed decent physical fitness and would be back to full health within two days. However, Wang Feng's Golden Lotus healing, particularly in its first form, was unexpectedly effective.

Before leaving the room, the master reminded them to report on time the next day.

Ning Rongrong was furious as she stood up from the bed, exclaiming, "Oi! Wang Feng, how could you do this? I'm so angry! I had finally gotten a chance to rest for two days but you took it away from me!"

Oscar wore a dejected expression as he joined in, adding, "Yeah... me too."

The others tried to hold back their laughter. Tang San couldn't help but find it amusing. Wang Feng, however, retorted with a smile, "If you rest, you'll fall behind everyone. As students of Shrek Academy, aren't you ashamed to lag behind others?"

Oscar paused for a moment, seemingly taken aback by Wang Feng's words.

Wang Feng couldn't help but chuckle at Ning Rongrong's enthusiasm for laziness and beauty. He added with a smile, "Of course there's also a byproduct of becoming stronger. My [Deification] soul ability can alter a person's appearance based on the soul master's own soul rank level. In short, the higher your soul power, the more beautiful you'll become after I use the ability on you. When your soul power reaches a super high level, using the [Deification] soul ability might even lead to a permanent transformation."

His words left everyone in a state of shock, especially Ma Hongjun, who was inspired and motivated immediately. He exclaimed, "Don't stop me! I'm going to practice non stop!" and hurried out.

The news intrigued the others, especially the female students like Xiao Wu and Zhu Zhuqing. Zhu Zhuqing asked with a hint of curiosity, "So, you're here to help us become even more beautiful?"

Wang Feng nodded, and suddenly, Ning Rongrong blushed and inquired, "You mean, you'll do this for me?"

Wang Feng confirmed her suspicion with a nod and Ning Rongrong, with her face flushed, left the room in a hurry, saying, "Then I'm going to practice!"

Xiao Wu and Zhu Zhuqing also followed her, filled with newfound enthusiasm for training.

Tang San, however, remained skeptical and asked Wang Feng, "Is what you said really true?"

Wang Feng responded with a question, "You still have doubts?"

Wang Feng responded with a sly grin, "Of course it's real!"

Tang San looked at him, somewhat puzzled, and asked, "Really?"

Wang Feng couldn't help but laugh, "Nope, I was just kidding! My [Deification] spirit ability is like a beauty filter, you won't understand it, it doesn't actually change your appearance but enhances it temporarily."

Tang San smiled awkwardly, "So, you were lying."

Wang Feng shrugged, "Well, sometimes a little motivation can work wonders. Girls and women like to feel good about themselves, especially when it comes to their appearance."

Tang San, Dai Mubai and Oscar nodded in agreement, understanding that a little white lie to inspire their fellow students could be beneficial.

Outside the room, the Grandmaster and Flender observed the students' enthusiastic response to Wang Feng's motivation. Grandmaster smiled and said, "Perhaps he would make a good teacher. His approach might not be conventional but it's effective nonetheless."

Flender also nodded and commented, "These students all have different motivations and Wang Feng seems to have a way of reaching them. I hope this little deception won't come back to haunt him."

They chuckled, recognizing that sometimes a little motivation, even if based on a white lie, could be a powerful tool to inspire and encourage their students.

For a day, Wang Feng seemed to be everyone's inspiration. Ma Hongjun, Ning Rongrong and Zhu Zhuqing, however, didn't practice that day, they just dove straight into their cultivation.

This unique approach, combined with their previous battles, gave them a strong feeling that an upgrade was just around the corner.

The next morning, Wang Feng woke up right on schedule and took a deep breath. After a night of practice, he couldn't help but shake his head. His soul power's growth had slowed down significantly since hitting level 30. Even with various methods to accelerate his cultivation, his progress was very sluggish.

The 30,000-year old soul ring had initially catapulted Wang Feng to the thirty-fourth level but it took him some time to stabilize there.

However, Wang Feng wasn't in any rush. He knew that patience was the key.

After getting ready, he headed to the cafeteria and to his surprise, several familiar faces were already there before time – Tang San, Ma Hongjun, Xiao Wu, Ning Rongrong and Zhu Zhuqing.

Clearly, everyone was up bright and early.

"Master, your cooking is fantastic!" Xiao Wu said, munching on a bun while holding two heaping plates of food. The others were equally enthusiastic, devouring their meals.

Even Ning Rongrong, who was known for her discerning choice of palate, was enjoying a chicken leg. When she noticed Wang Feng approaching, she quickly put it down and pretended to take a sip of porridge and a few bites of vegetables elegantly.

'She's down bad for me. She wants me!'

Zhu Zhuqing, sitting nearby, also did the same. But Ma Hongjun took the prize for enthusiasm, creating a small gust as he dug into his delicious meal.

The group was clearly motivated and Wang Feng joined them. He couldn't help but agree that the master's cooking was top-notch. It seemed that cooking for himself had its merits over the years.

Before long, Oscar and Dai Mubai also arrived.

"Dig in, everyone. A soul master needs more than just soul power – a strong body is essential too."

The master regarded the group with a stern expression.

"Building a strong physique is just as important as training. From now on, I'll prepare breakfast for you every day. But remember, if you're not down here to eat before six o'clock, you'll have no food until lunch – no exceptions."

Everyone nodded in agreement, understanding the importance of punctuality.

Half an hour later, they had all finished their meal. The morning sun cast its gentle light upon the earth as the academy's bell began to chime, signaling the time for their gathering at the square.

The eight of them lined up, with the master standing before them. He addressed them with authority, "Starting today, we begin your special training."

The master's gaze traveled over the group, eventually settling on Wang Feng. "Wang Feng, step out of the line."

Wang Feng walked forward, puzzled. 'Why was he getting singled out? Aish! Side effect of being too good.'

"You'll be at the end of this special training." the Grandmaster added.

It seemed the master had other plans. "The rest of you, watch first. Dai Mubai, you're up."

Without hesitation, Dai Mubai stepped forward.

"You're a 37th-level Soul Elder. Today, you'll spar with Tang San. But there's a catch – Tang San won't use his hidden weapons or his third soul ability." the master declared, looking at Dai Mubai.

Dai Mubai frowned slightly and questioned, "Isn't that unfair?"

"Unfair?" The master responded coldly, "There's no such thing as fairness in the world of soul masters. You'll all face tough challenges. Since you've voiced your concerns, we'll lift the restriction and Tang San can use his three soul skills."

Dai Mubai nodded, moving to the center of the square. Tang San joined him.
