Chapter 93 - Chapter 92.

An electrifying sensation surged from the depths of his heart, setting his heart racing. He had never experienced this before and it was unsettling. Something was amiss, very much so.

Suddenly, he felt threatened as his instincts kicked in. The young man swiftly turned around and took a deep breath. As he scanned the surroundings, he couldn't help but notice two peculiar eyes piercing through the dusty haze, shining like lanterns in the dark, impossible to ignore.

A portion of his mask had been torn during his recent scuffle, revealing half of his strikingly handsome face, while the other half remained concealed behind the mask. It was an odd sight and it sent shivers down her spine for some reasons unknown.

His heart palpitated at the sight. But that wasn't all, the young man seemed to be radiating a golden aura, crackling with an electric energy that resembled lightning surrounding his body.

Lightning?

Could he possibly be connected to the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon clan? The youth furrowed his brow, unable to discern the source of his power.

"And when did he unleash his soul ability? Was it when I turned around just now?" The young man's thoughts raced.

In an instant, a golden bolt of lightning sliced through the air, accompanied by a deafening chorus of thunderous crackles. The speed was mind-boggling, at least several times faster than before.

"Holy Sword!"

With a sudden motion, the youth's wings burst into radiant light behind his back as his body blurred once more. Simultaneously, the fifth black soul ring ignited.

Suddenly, golden flames danced in his hand, forming a swift longsword within the fiery blaze. But before the sword was fully in his grasp, the owner of those enigmatic black eyes was already right in front of him. They were mere centimeters apart, their gazes locked, as if they could read each other's thoughts.

"Are you planning to punch your way out?" In the flickering light of the flames, Wang Feng seized the young man with a firm grip, one hand holding him in place.

The young man's body flickered but this time, when Wang Feng made contact, he couldn't escape. A strange numbness spread from Wang Feng's hand, catching the youth off guard.

In that brief moment of numbness, Wang Feng's other hand swiftly lifted the youth's winged mask.

"Let me see who you really are." Wang Feng sneered.

As the mask was raised, Wang Feng was met with a visage so delicate and flawless, it seemed as if the heavens had poured all their beauty into this one face.

"Hmm, it feels oddly familiar.." Wang Feng mused, a hint of recognition tugging at his memory.

Almost instinctively, Wang Feng's fingers brushed across the young man's face, and the sensation was as smooth as the finest silk. It left Wang Feng perplexed.

"Why does this face delicateness...resemble that of a woman?" he whispered to himself.

Just then, the young man was also taken aback. He hadn't expected his attacker to pause and unmask him during his momentary numbness.

To think that he'd spoken aloud and touched him like that! Wang Feng's whispered words were so close that the young woman couldn't help but hear. His fury surged to an extreme and his six soul rings began to glow intensely, with the sixth black soul ring radiating light fiercely.

His three pairs of wings expanded dramatically and a humanoid figure slowly emerged behind him from his body. It roared in unison with him, the three pairs of wings and the young man's actions synchronized.

The thunderous sound waves rippled through the entire battlefield, as

"Angel Roar!" echoed through the air. The high platforms around them and the glass in the circular stands shattered into pieces.

Wang Feng, the closest to the epicenter of the attack, snorted and swiftly retreated. This soul ability, in comparison to Zhao Wuji's powerful Vajra Roar, was even more destructive as it inflicted significant harm also to the soul of the soul master.

Even Wang Feng, with his unique soul and strong mental fortitude, couldn't escape unscathed. He bore some injuries and if the attack continued, it could turn dire.

"He is a woman and there's something oddly familiar about her... Wait, could it be?" Wang Feng took a step back, his brow furrowed as he observed the enraged young woman. His curiosity about her identity had been piqued when she had first approached, especially when he'd touched his face.

The arrogance emanating from her had triggered his mysterious humanoid martial soul, momentarily clouding his judgment. Instead of attacking, he had chosen to unveil her mask to reveal her true identity.

Wang Feng remained puzzled by the unpredictable appearance and disappearance of his mysterious humanoid martial soul. And now, being attacked by the enigmatic young man turned woman, he was pulled and shaken by an eerie and malevolent energy that threatened to overwhelm him.

Thankfully, Wang Feng managed to regain his composure in time. The Chaos Green Lotus within him activated on its own, restraining the sinister energy emanating from the humanoid martial soul. It was this curiosity about the young man's identity that led him to release his [Deification] soul ability when the young man abruptly turned and abandoned his initial plan, with the triple rank increasing blessing following suit.

After enduring three exchanges, Wang Feng felt a dizzying sensation in his head, but he persevered. The young man now woman, roaring soul ability surpassed even Zhao Wuji's mighty Vajra Roar. It was a force that no ordinary defensive soul ability could withstand, as it directly assaulted the soul.

After a while, the young man now woman, seemed to notice the shattered glass windows around him now her and the excessive force he now she had exerted, so he now she retracted his now her soul ring and hastily donned his now her mask once more. He now she regarded Wang Feng with cold eyes, taking in the sight of the slightly bleeding corner of Wang Feng's mouth.

With a brief statement, she declared, "I'll keep my word. You've endured three attacks, I'll let you go." With that, he now she turned and departed, quickly disappearing from Wang Feng's view.

Intrigued, Wang Feng chuckled softly.

"Could it be you? I never expected to encounter you in a place like this. Six years have passed and while I've changed considerably, your transformation isn't quite as pronounced."

The touch of the young man's now woman's face lingered in his memory but the change had been so profound that he couldn't quite place it at the start.

As for the young man's now woman's true identity, Wang Feng could only speculate. However, one thing was certain – this young man now woman was likely the mysterious boy who had arrived in Nuoding City alongside Bishop Jie Ke six years ago.

While Wang Feng hadn't used the Soul Hall token in a long time, he couldn't help but ponder it. He shook his head, deciding to rely on his Golden Lotus for healing and recovery. This soul ability provided comprehensive recovery, addressing both physical and mental damage.

After recuperating, Wang Feng made his way out of the fighting arena. Zhu Zhuqing also rushed over as he returned to the Great Fighting Soul Arena, concerned.

"Wang Feng, are you okay?"

She inquired in a hushed tone. The recent events had been quite unnerving for her and she had never witnessed such an intense battle before. She'd been genuinely worried about the situation in the arena below.

Until a short while ago, the shattering of the glass windows and the thunderous roar had left even her momentarily disoriented. The 'Angel Roar' had seemed like an attack to cleanse the world of its sins and she had even caught sight of Wang Feng below.

Fortunately, the roar had ceased and Wang Feng had emerged unscathed.

"I'm fine." Wang Feng assured Zhu Zhuqing with a shake of his head, swiftly wiping the blood from the corners of his mouth. Dealing with pure mental/soul attacks was always troublesome.

Zhao Wuji's Vajra Roar used sound waves to inflict damage to both the body and to some extent, the soul. However, the young man's recent roar had been a pure mental/soul attack that left his body unharmed but his soul vulnerable. His spirit had been shaken but Golden Lotus healing had almost instantaneously restored him.

Wang Feng pondered whether the Black Lotus defensive cover might have mitigated some of the mental/soul shock, but he couldn't have predicted the nature of the young man's now woman's soul ability. Such mental attack soul abilities were rare and not frequently encountered by soul masters.

"Let's head back for now. No need to participate in the team battle." Zhu Zhuqing suggested, her face slightly pale. Even though she was in the stands, the recent roar had affected her to some extent also.

Wang Feng agreed with a nod and together with Zhu Zhuqing, they returned to Shrek Academy.

Fortunately, the sky wasn't completely dark yet and it wasn't late at night when the two returned back to the Shrek Academy. They slipped back unnoticed by most.

After the youth left the Great Soul Arena, Bishop Ji Ke hurried over and inquired respectfully, "Your Highness, how did the battle go?"

The youth remained silent, closing his eyes to recollect the recent duel. The young man's strength had surpassed her expectations. She had even employed the sixth soul ability, the Angel Roar but still the young man stood his ground. However, it was clear that the young man had also sustained some injuries.

"Very formidable, he was able to withstand three attacks of mine." the youth slowly replied.

"Furthermore, when he defeated Li Jian, he claimed not to have used his martial soul, but it appears he might possess other martial soul... Perhaps a twin martial soul maybe, which might explain his great strength."

Bishop Jie Ke was taken aback by the revelation.

A twin martial soul and even able to endure three attacks of the young prince?

"What's so surprising? It's not unusual for someone to have a twin martial soul if they can reach the thirty-first level," the young man said, casting a cold glance at Bishop Jie Ke.

"You needn't concern yourself with this young man any longer, I'll handle it personally."

Bishop Jie Ke nodded in agreement, thinking that the young prince must have a particular interest in the young man's talent.

As the young man finished speaking, he quickly disappeared into a lavish carriage and departed into the darkness.

Inside the carriage, the young man now reveled to be woman removed the mask, revealing a striking handsome or beautiful face. Her eyes held a unique expression, sometimes astonished, sometimes angry, sometimes slightly aloof.

Eventually, she lightly touched her own cheek and whispered within the opulent carriage:

"What audacity, to lift my mask and touch my face... How presumptuous!"

"But that half of the face... it seems somewhat similar to the kid in the Nuoding City from six years ago... If it's truly him, it might be intriguing."

"Ha ha ha... well, well..."

In the span of six years, Wang Feng had undergone a significant transformation. He had grown from approximately 1.5 meters to about 1.8 meters, with his body and bones evolving through multiple body reconstructions. Naturally, his face had also changed as well.
