Chapter 16 - Get Married Already

After some contemplation, Seraphina finally spoke, "I apologize, Miss Jolene. It's disheartening how the media enjoys spreading false rumors. I firmly believe in your moral integrity, and there's no way—"

"I'm going to assist you in your search for your sister, Amelia Xu," Olivia said, her sweet smile making Seraphina wonder if the young Miss was truly holding up well.

Considering how the media had tarnished her image, how could she be so composed?

Even if her fiancé, Mr. Wang, managed to take down the post and all related content, the damage to her reputation had already been done. The media had an unforgiving memory.

Seraphina nodded in acknowledgment.

Olivia's smile remained unfaltered as she continued, "And you'll have to help me take down that post."

Seraphina blinked, not expecting this request. "Miss Jolene, you must understand that it's beyond my capabilities. The post has gone viral, and besides, it's evident that the woman in that picture isn't you. Attempting to remove the post is akin to claiming it was you in that image. The—"

Olivia cut her off, "When I say 'take down the post,' do you think I mean pressuring my dear sister to remove it?" Olivia shook her head. "Not a chance. I have an idea to make the media forget the post ever existed."

'I find it peculiar discussing the media as if I understand it,' Olivia mused with a sweet smile. 'Reading that book was truly helpful.'

'Thank you, old woman, but you could have done more. I'm not impressed.'

"Miss Jolene, I don't quite grasp your plan. How do you intend to remove the post without tarnishing my image? I'll assist with anything as long as it doesn't harm my reputation," Seraphina inquired.

Olivia smiled and leaned further into the settee, "There's a simple way to do that."

A silence hung in the air.

Olivia rubbed her left thumb before adding, "Isn't there a saying that goes, 'If you want to take down someone powerful, use someone even more powerful?'"

Seraphina blinked, slowly comprehending what the young mistress had in mind. "You mean we need to create something even more viral to overshadow this?"

Who would have thought that this woman, initially believed to be naive, was far from it?

"And what precisely do you have in mind? Is there really something that can go more viral than a revelation of Jolene Yu, the heir of Yu Business?"

Seraphina grew increasingly intrigued by Jolene, eager to see how this seemingly inexperienced woman would navigate this precarious situation. A woman who had unashamedly met Blade Chen for assistance—what other surprises did she hold?

"I am Allison Yu's sister, am I not?" Olivia inquired, her eyes devoid of expression but her lips bearing a significant smile.

Seraphina nodded in approval.

"And being her sister, I undoubtedly possess knowledge that the media lacks, don't I?"

Seraphina blinked, then nodded again in agreement, losing count of her blinks.

"That's the key. All you have to do is post it on your account, Miss Seraphina Xu. For an A-list actress like you, anything can go viral, especially something inherently viral."

Seraphina nodded again, her thoughts racing, 'I think I'm already getting goosebumps. Miss Jolene Yu... she appears to be a remarkably intriguing woman. Someone with the perfect plan the moment things go awry. If it were me, I'd have spent hours panicking and making frantic calls to have that post removed!'

Meanwhile, Olivia smiled as she delved deeper into her thoughts, 'Even if I assume the identity of a deceased woman, I won't go easy with anyone who tries shit with me.'

'They may have done whatever they did to that dumb Jolene, but I'm different, and I won't bear trash.'

'If that woman dares to cross me, she'll soon regret it. After all, it takes two to tango.'

For a while, the both of them kept silent, while Seraphina was busy with the comments on the post.

Feeling a bit bored, an idea struck her, prompting her to log in to Weibo and navigate to Blade Chen's profile. She began scrolling through all his recent posts, many of which she had seen before, and a smile gradually crept across her face.

Olivia noticed this. "Miss Seraphina, Mr Blade Chen is a good man don't you agree?"

Olivia wanted to play around. She knew the relationship between Seraphina and Blade. They were the main leads of the comic book and their love to Olivia was trash since it was entirely bottled with stupid misunderstandings.

But this time, according to Olivia's memory, their love had not bloomed. However, when it did bloom, the focus would be on someone else entirely, perhaps, that young man.

Though, Olivia had delved deeper into the book, there were still substantial parts left and she could only guess what it could contain.

Olivia thought of something, she wondered what would happen if they finally reach the end of the comic book.

Shaking her head, 'I will be gone to my world by that time, however, I am curious about what could happen. Will everyone start to disappear given the fact that this is a fake world to begin with?'

'Wait... a minute...'

'That old woman said something about reading that book and going back to my world.'

'Do not tell me I will have to see the book through before I am able to go back to my world?'

'And I will have to wait till Jolene gets killed by her heart disease?'

'Will I go back to my world or die as a result?'

It was already getting confusing for Olivia as she tried to understand what could happen. At the same time, she tried to guess the reason why the comic narrative was different from the reality.

Olivia gasped when a vision came to her.

'Does that mean my actions now can quicken things? That is, if I can get the male lead and the female lead together so fast, then their story will end!'

Shaking her head, Olivia uttered, "I refuse to be a catalyst for someone's romance."

Seraphina who heard Olivia speak, slowly raised her head to look at Olivia, "Someone's romance, Miss Jolene?"

Seraphina had not heard Olivia's question about Blade Chen's personality and this question really took her unexpected.

Without having any choice but that, Olivia said out loud while contrasting to what she had in mind just now, "Why don't you and the man you are staring at on that phone get married already?"
