Chapter 101 - 2nd Sem

Ahiro rose from his bed, the early morning sunlight seeping through the window, casting a warm glow on the room. He stretched, feeling the vigour of a new day, and walked towards the window. As he gazed outside, the sunrise painted the landscape in hues of pink and gold, a serene beauty that heralded the start of the next semester of his course.

After a refreshing shower, Ahiro went through his morning routine, preparing himself for the physical training class. As he jogged towards the training grounds, the pristine snow-covered surroundings of the academy greeted him. The once-green landscape was now blanketed in a layer of glistening white, marking the arrival of winter.

Ahiro thought back to the competition held three months ago and how time had swiftly passed since then.

Arriving at the physical training class, Ahiro joined his fellow students, their breaths visible in the crisp winter air. Their training has been increasing every day, and due to all that intense training and proper diet, Ahiro started to get into shape. No one could call him malnourished now. On the other hand, Melvin's dear stomach had completely flattened now, and he was eager to spend all the points he had earned in the competition to bring back his dear belly back. However, after having a 'friendly talk' with Prof. Stoneheart, he had a change of heart and decided to follow his diet.

As usual, the instructor told us to begin with a set of light stretches and warm-ups followed by some muscle-building exercises. Ahiro started peddling his bike for a warm-up and in the rhythm of peddling his mind wandered back to the competition, The winners were awarded by the principal herself and the official top 5's were announced, they were more or less the same list that was voted by student except for few changes.

At the end of the competition, the principal gave a speech in which he congratulated the winners and encouraged all students to view defeat as a learning opportunity and to push beyond their limits. Ahiro took this message to heart after his defeat and refused to sit idle. He spent hours every day perfecting his weapon arts and practised his awakened power through the night until he passed out from exhaustion. And he wasn't the only one most of the students after finally gaining substantial points had started investing them towards building their strength.

Apart from the training the rest of the time was spent on preparing for the test. After the competition, a series of tests were announced for students that would be based on their chosen individual subjects.

As for Ahiro in Techsynthesia Ahiro managed to score an excellent grade due to his talent in the subject. He also managed to secure decent grades in the weapon combat tactic test.

However, the scenario changed when it came to Archeology, For its test Miss Maya had given questions about the history and exploration projects. Despite his best efforts, Ahiro struggled to secure good marks in this particular subject. While he managed to grasp the basics, the complexities of Archeology remained a hurdle, as reflected in his grades. Emily, on the other hand, excelled in Archeology, earning the top spot in class.

"Hey are you done with the machine" asked a boy standing near the bike bringing ahiro out of his deep thoughts.

"Oh Yes! I am done with it" Ahiro said getting off the bike.

"Hey Ahiro" came Melvin from the back. "Could you spot me?" Melvin said.

"Oh yes" said Ahiro following Melvin. Melvin quickly started bench press and Ahiro supported him. After which he continued his exercise.

As the class was over Ahiro and Mevin made their way to the general studies class.

"Hey Melvin, what do you think we will be learning this semester," asked Ahiro.

"Well it would be the same old boring, I still can't understand what you find interesting," said Melvin feeling sleepy even before entering the class.

"Well isn't my notes the reason you passed general studies," said Ahiro.

"And that's why you are my best friend," said Melvin Putting his hand on Ahiro's shoulder "But I know there are going to be some changes in the syllabus as compared to the previous year I don't know why, but it will be announced today"

As they entered the class, Ahiro followed Melvin to their seat of the day.

"Listen Ahiro I tell you today I will fall asleep and Professor Savant wouldn't even know" said Melvin.

"You say so daily and we know the result," said Ahiro as he sat beside Melvin. He would daily try to sit on a different bench and fall asleep only to get hit by a pen by a professor.

"No it won't happen, because this place is not too front that I would be in his immediate view range and neither too far that he would find a need to check, thus this is perfect believe me, and I can feal today is the day when my legend will be written," said melvin eyes filled with confidence.

"well let's see" Ahiro sighed already knowing the result.

The general studies class commenced as the teacher entered the hall, prompting all students to rise from their seats as a sign of respect. A hush fell over the room as the teacher scanned the faces of the attentive students before beginning the day's lesson.

"Melvin I can still see you don't fall asleep" said the Professor making the score Melvin 0, Professor 52.

"Good morning, everyone. I hope you are excited for the semester" the teacher greeted, setting the tone for the class. After a brief exchange of pleasantries, the teacher delved into the main agenda for the day.

"I have some important announcements to kick off the semester. We'll be making teams," he declared, capturing the students' attention. Murmurs of curiosity rippled through the classroom.

The Professor continued to explain. "While the other details will be covered in your special physical classes, I want each of you to submit your preferred team formations by the end of the week."

The mention of a team formation immediately sparked interest among the students.

"Remember, a team should consist of five members, and I expect each submission to be well-thought-out. This is a crucial aspect of your training, and your ability to work effectively in a team will be evaluated," the teacher emphasized.

He continued, "Additionally, this year the inter-department competition will be held in a team format. And thus the reason for team formation. Now, let's get those creative gears turning, and I look forward to seeing your team formations by the end of the week."

With that, the teacher concluded the announcements, leaving the students with a sense of anticipation and excitement for the upcoming challenge.
