Chapter 9 - Birth

Tears of love and relief streamed down Hera's face as she affectionately looked at the tiny fragile being within her arms.

With silver hair and scintillating cloudy eyes, Orion seemed holy beyond words as his mere presence appeased the hearts of all those present in the room.

"You did it…" shakily uttered Eros, the emotions flowing within his heart as he watched his first son indescribable.

Lightly caressing Hera's magnificent face, the couple simply sat in silence.

Despite being completely worn out, Hera's eyes couldn't seem to drift off her sleeping son's face as she foolishly smiled.

RUMBLE!

This moment of peace was immediately interrupted as the foundations of existence seemed to violently shake and react to Orion's birth.

"SKREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

A piercing shriek reverberated through the ears of all existing life forms within the Chaos Heavens as something seemed to have been awakened or more accurately, freed.

Instantly, all major powers of the Chaos Heavens and beyond were alerted as all eyes focused on one place.

Manifestations of 999 majestic Heavenly Dragons instantly appeared all around the Heavenly Yin cradle world as a godly pressure descended on everyone expect Orion and his parents.

"ROOOOAAAAARRRRR!"

A roar so majestic and proud none dared to look up reverberated through time and space as the laws crumbled and the dao hearts of many instantly shattered.

All around existence, most found themselves kneeling in reverence and fear as something within them refused to dare disrespect whatever had descended upon their mortal fold of the world.

Cultivators surpassing the realm of gods and primordials felt themselves become tiny, insignificant, weak pebbles in front of an endless sea of of power and supremacy as they too kneeled, their daos nearly shattering from such an impact.

A stupendously high amount of Yin and Yang essence flooded the Heavenly Yin cradle world as Orion and Hera instantly found themselves flooded with such pure and powerful forces.

The Dragons that had been circling around them immediately burst into a frenzy of energy as the son and mother unceremoniously devoured as much as they could.

Taking a few steps back, Eros smiled as he recognised the effects of his bloodline.

With a wave of his hand, the natural seal placed on Orion's soul space was shattered as a roar even more violent and powerful reverberated through the worlds.

Vulkron appeared in all his splendour and majesty as he too devoured part of the energies feeding his little brother and mother.

After a few minutes, the cloud that seemed to have been hanging over his mind dissipated as he rapidly spoke to Eros.

"SEAL HIS SOUL AND AFFINITIES! QUICKLY!"

"IF YOU DON'T HE WILL-"

It was too late.

Throughout the Myriad Chaos Heavens, trillions upon trillions of angelic and eldritch beings sprung out of the void, their strengths equal to a Pillar's as their war cry unanimously rang through the Heavens.

Reality crumbled, the laws faded and all forms of Heavenly order was shattered as a wave of chaos spread through the Myriad.

Orion's presence and birth seemed to only become more and more overbearing, the announcement of his presence threatening to destroy endless amounts of worlds and yet…

A yawn.

The childish yawn of a baby reached their ears as they strangely felt their hearts ease up and souls be warmed.

Amidst this chaos, within the Yin world, calmly holding a sleeping Orion was an elderly lady with long bright blue hair and aged dark blue skin covered in pure white circular runes that emitted an archaic aura of peace and wisdom.

As she gazed into Orion's soul, her brows lifted in surprise.

"What a pure soul… a controller perhaps? Maybe an Empath? Who knows…" she enigmatically said, the smile on her face appeasing.

With a tap of her finger, Orion's affinities were sealed and his soul placed back to its natural state as he found himself back into his mother's warm arms.

Time and space retook their natural paths as the laws rebuilt themselves and the myriad of manifestations faded to dust, greatly surprising everyone except the Pillars.

'Brat's already causing trouble for us…' thought Vulkron with a smile as he returned to Orion's soul space.

"Thank you Pillar Brimstone. I swear upon my honour that such a debt will be repaid." Respectfully uttered Eros as he slightly bowed.

"Hm? Oh, it's nothing worth a favour from you kiddo. The other bastards were just too lazy to come out." She offhandedly answered to which Eros could only awkwardly smile.

It was a well known fact that as one advanced through the stages, they'd become more eccentric and aloof.

"Actually, if you want to repay this favour, bring him to me when he is of age to chose his life artefact and first weapon."

"Consider it done."

"Alright now go see your family." She said as she teleported away.

Immediately, Eros rushed to Hera's side as the happiness on his face illuminated the world.

——

Far, far away from the Erebus clan's ancestral land, within a prestigious Chaos Heaven, three figures sat amidst a void storm.

They seemed totally unbothered by such a cataclysmic phenomena as they sipped on their divine beverages and conversed.

"Finally, the last one is born. The Eternal stars of the Genesis generation have all been born." Calmly uttered Huvalan Valdan.

With long flaming green hair, empty eye sockets that seemed to contain an infinite amount of realities and an androgynous figure, the sect leader of the Verdant Life Flame sect was intriguing to say the least.

"I wonder how he's gonna deal with the age difference. He might even get bullied by his seniors." Offhandedly said Yvette Valdan, Huvalan's little sister and the sect's first elder.

Just like her brother, she had long flaming green hair but unlike him her eyes were of a tranquil azure blue. Her gaze was as vast and calm as an endless ocean yet her aura seemed to blaze brighter than a dying star, creating a strange yet fitting contrast, a completed duality as some would say.

"We'll see during the Heavenly world festival. Hopefully that other kid joins too." Added another voice.

Covered in a dark cloud of essence this person's presence seemed to be one with the shadows as unless one had a powerful enough soul, no one would be able to sense him even if they stood right in front of him.

"Either way, as long as he serves his purpose, I couldn't care less."
